Order "take away" from Restaurant Ipoh Sedap (PJ SS2) recently. Food was so so. Nothing much to shout about. When the bill came out, it was expensive that the small plain looking "Chee Cheong Fun" cost RM 5.00. Other place in PJ SS 3 only cost RM 1.60. I don't mind the higher price of Young Tau Foo cost RM 1.50 per piece but a plain looking Chee Cheong Fun cost RM 5.00 that is a bit absurd. Purely profiteering from the stall. Attached is the bill, photo of the take away food and I add in photo from a popular PJ SS 3 Young Tou Fu stall for price comparison. Honestly if you can, give this place a miss as other place can offer better quality food and reasonable price.

Good place for fresh & yummy yong tau foo. No frills. Friendly staff. Quick service. Prices are okay. Pick your choices & enjoy them with noodles, chee cheong fun or rice. The fish paste has a nice texture & flavor especially with their chilli sauce. The kon lou noodles with mince meat is good too. They also have curry chicken & braised pork. Wash it all down with some nice kopi peng or boiled sugar cane.

The food is actually quite good until I saw a worker dropped 1 piece of Yong tau Foo under the counter... Picked it up, washed it and put it back on the counter... That totally grossed me out mannnnnnnn...... Never again here!!!

In all my years of eating chee cheong fun (CCF), I have to conclude that Ipoh Sedap is one of the best I have tried in PJ area. The rice noodles are almost perfect because they still steam them before serving. Not like other places who just serve them as-is. Well, I have to say that the MCO1,2 & 3 made me explore all of the CCF around PJ and some are pretty nice. This one is considered one of my favourite places to date. Oh, the Hor Hee is pretty nice too! Because they use Ipoh Taugay!

Wide variety of noodles and yong tau foo but the the taste of the sweet sauce spoiled it for the chee cheong fun.

Ipoh chicken rice here is the best. A few outlets here serving on same road. Very much ipoh cuisine for night dinners. This place provides sweet memories when i am dating here 20 over years ago
