★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was late for lunch, most Chinese kopitiam close after 2.30pm so ended up here. Had fried chicken, telur dada, fried bitter gourd and some curry. Was surprise the food was pretty good and tasty. With a ice lime drink cost around RM10 which is pretty good for a Nasi Kandar shop...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for lunch, dinner and supper. Food is not bad, nothing fancy. Normal nasi kandar and all sorts of roti. Just don't order their teh tarik.. it's prepared much earlier (stainless steel tank at drink counter)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nasi Kandar Arsyad is located in Old Town, Section 1 in ,Petaling Jaya city. It is basically the oldest part of PJ. Traders are still surviving since many generations ago. Though it does need a facelift and a complete new look, the restaurants all around serves good local food. You just need to find the best hawker styled restauants.
Like Nasi Kandar Arsyad restaurant, it is located in a proper shop lot and what serves best here is the variety of dishes from Beriyani rice to Authentic meat dishes , spicy seafood platter, mutton soup ( sup kambing in Malay) and a variety of vegetable dishes. It comes with a long menu of traditional drinks to fresh fruit juices and hot beverages. If you happen to pass by here then do pop in to taste some of their delicious dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small mamak shop in PJ old town. This shop must be over 15 years old. Clean and with a lovely female order taker that's armed with a tablet. Quite a modern nerdy outfit.
