★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i like nasi kandar in penang island and makbul restaurant is well famous and have a very good dishes and with good taste of food. but im just disapoint when it change my opinion about makbul nasi kandar when they served me with rotten fried chicken on the 17.06.2019. i went to have dinner with my family there. the chicken was just fried and hot,so i took it. but the chicken taste very bad and smells bad when i taste it, i think they have been keep fried and fried for almost 3 to 4 days...it smells bad and it could be bad for health if kids eat that. and the worst part is most of the fried chicken stinks there, because few of us cant eat coz the chicken taste bad, im not adding up or what, but it happends to me and this message is for the restoran opposit of bukit jambul complex, and not all makbul restaurant so pls be care full before u take ur food there..!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All workers are from india country... Authority to check.. All spoke indian.. Not even one person spoke in bahasa msia nor english.. Is it really muslim??? Most probably they are hindus!!!! But frames are all in quran version... Authority have to check.... Quite dirty especialy at the cooking areas at the back and front..

For breakfast try the puri set with potato masala. For dinner nasi goreng ayam is the best! If you're fan of nasi kandar, try rice with kuah campur and either mutton or the crispy fried chicken.
Parking here not so easy if you drive a four wheeler especially at busy time, but can park in open space car park about 200m away (RM4 per entry at this point) or in BJ complex at hourly rate.
There are also other Makbul outlets scattered around the island.
