What I had was Nasi Lemak sotong and Kambing for my breakfast. It was not bad but it’s doesn't fit to my liking. You can easily take away during peak hours to avoid queuing for hours.

Not recommended. I took sotong, tandoori chicken and squid eggs. But everything is not fresh on my plate. :( I recommend to those who visit Penang for nasi kandar, go to Deen’s Maju Nasi Kandar, Tajuddin Hussein Nasi Kandar, or Nasi Kandar Beratur. These three place serve fresh food especially the Tajuddin Hussein Nasi Kandar. The price is also reasonable. I think i won’t be coming back to NK Pokok Ketapang after getting diarrhea experience from eating here.

Taste just good for me…. It’s Penang ❗️every nasi kandar have their own taste…. Depends on your taste buds……price affordable……

Food was good but unfortunately waited 45 minutes for food. Server said that the order got "lost". Ordered roti canai and roto bakar. Nice but we had to eat in a rush.

Arrived as early as 7am, this restaurant has a less crowd. Signature breakfast dishes were: Rating: 9/10 Roti gulung daging (minced beef rolled prata with special gravy) Rating: 7/10 Roti balut cheese (Eggs on prata and cheese with chickpeas gravy) Rating: 8/10 Roti triple daging (Prata with beef, fried egg and special gravy) Landmark: Penaga Hotel Advice: Crowd is building up starting 8am onwards, therefore it is best if you arrive before 8am to avoid long queue. Payment: Cash or e-wallet (Touch n Go)

The taste was superb, as usual.. Must remember, during weekend, mostly lunch hour you need to q in d long line before get your food.

We did twice for breakfast here, as the food is good. Savoury Roti canai of varieties to choose from which seems interesting for us. Best to arrive by 7.30am or earlier to avoid the crowd. Also, don't get upset/grumpy easily as they are understaffed. Would come again in the future!

Wonderful spot for nasi kandar, especially I had mine with a piece of fried chicken just out of the wok. The mixture of curry is just perfect. Wonder what took me so long to find this spot.
