K	Khor Yong Kean on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A typical Chinese styled of cooking. This nasi lemak stall in a kopitiam is very popular among locals. Cheap eat. There have large varieties of side dishes such as fried chicken, chilli sotong and shellfish, kangkung..I tried the sotong and shellfish, and the price is only RM 5. I like the chilli sambal, which has some onion flavour. The rice is also very nice and fragrance, cooked with santan, but a bit hard. I think the rice is the only one non-chinese style, as usually the rice would be cooked with pandan leaf and ginger. Overall, I think the nasi lemak here is OK, not to say very very good.

Nasi lemak with chinese sambal is the main attraction, and you can add fried chicken, chilli fried fish as side dishes. Drinks like Kopi and Teh are served, they tasted above average. Come around 8.00 to 9.00 am to avoid the peak hours with huge crowd.

The taste of sambal is good, and very spicy. But I find their sambal a little too watery. 1 plate of rice with sambal sotong + drink is about RM7.

Came at around 1230pm but there were already less variety available hence advised it’s better to go early if you’d like to pick and choose. The shop follows social distancing well as tables are far from one another and E-Wallet payment options are available for contactless payment. Parking may be a hassle but overall enjoyable simple nasi lemak meal at a simple Kopitiam.
