Just completed level 2 of Yoga and Naturapathy fore Bone and Joint Health. My best take away is learning the right way to do the poses with specific instructions on common errors and correct versions. All of this is captured in modules created for every lesson. So practicing at home is possible given these modules as reference. Selected recipies with emphasis on bone health and general wellbeing is given as well together with notes on exercises. My knee pain has significantly reduced and my back pain is under control. I have also gained a more toned body and a stronger core. Thanks Monika!

I love practising yoga with Monika. She is caring and knowledgeable. Practising the yoga at a snail pace helped me understand snd vorrect my posture, strengthen my core and muscles. Infact i managed to break two potentially disastrous fall because yoga gave my body an innate respond to bresk the fall. Otherwise i would have broken bones. I enjoy every class and after each class i feel iv had a great massage. I feel lighter snd strrtched. I stand taller. I will continue to practise with Monika. She also share her knowledge on nutrition with us so we age gracefully through a good diet n exercise.

I took part in the "Yoga & Naturopathy Courses for Healthy bones" courses. It really helped me outline what I need to do in order to get rid of my lower back problems and while doing the courses it actually got much better...I think Monika is a superb Yoga instructor because she always makes sure that you never practice in a way that might be damaging to you, but always according to your own limits.

Been going for Monica's Saturday morning yoga classes at yoga Hive, for alignment. It's good to be reminded of some basics in retaining right posture in poses to get the most out of it. I recently joined 2 courses, Level 1 and Level 2 of "Yoga & Naturopathy for Healthy Bones & Joints. I loved running and never thought much of yoga. After being diagnosed of a collapsed L4 and L5 of my spinal cord, I knew that I have to slow down and find another sport, not only to keep fit but to strengthen my bones and posture. A girlfriend made me aware of a yoga class that focuses on bones and joints. That was the start of my journey to yoga. I joined a course conducted by Ms. Monika, focusing on strengthening our bones with the right techniques and after each class, all participants received hand-outs featuring all that we have practised during class to further practise on our own at home. As I have never done yoga in my life, I naturally needed a lot of guidance and Ms. Monika kept a close eye on me to ensure that I was doing it correctly. She would check on each student and made corrections whenever necessary. The course was not only about yoga for healthy bones & joints. Ms. Monika, a certified nutritionist, also briefed us on good foods (as much as possible, organic) that helps in maintaining healthy bones and she gave tips on how and when best to take our supplements. I have to admit that it wasn't all without pains and aches as I challenged myself to achieve certain poses but with constant practice, I am sure I will overcome the negatives and enjoy yoga more. Thank you, Ms. Monika for being so patient with this yoga dummy!

As I was recently recovering from an ACL knee sprain, along with nursing other previous back and dance injuries over the years, I was recommended to join Monikaโ€™s Level 1 Yoga & Naturopathy for Healthy Bones & Joints. I found the course to be extremely helpful as it helped me stay active, healthy and to build overall strength while I was on my recovery journey. This course is designed with a more wholistic approach to learning yoga, with focuses on nutrition, overall health and wellbeing. It is great that Monika is very knowledgeable and particular on yoga technique and class safety, which gives students the opportunity to learn proper yoga techniques and to challenge themselves in a safe environment. She also guides you through step-by-step, allowing you to comfortably build up strength and confidence at your own pace, via the modified options that cater to individual capabilities. The take home notes and videos from the course also make it easy for one to practice at home. It is definitely a good class for those who are interested in learning the yoga basics and fundamental techniques, which helps provide a strong foundation in yoga to build up to more advanced sequences. Thank you, Monika, for all your guidance and patience throughout my yoga journey thus far - could not have done it without you!

I consult Monika as a Naturopath and also have attended her workshop โ€œYoga & Naturopathy for Healthy Bones & Jointsโ€. I took home a lot of useful information regarding health and nutrition. During the class Monika gave individual advice to the participants on how to adapt the exercises depending on their physical condition. The handouts and video links are really helpful when you want to practice on your own later on. I recommend this class to anyone who wishes to improve their health by practicing yoga but cannot join a regular class because of their joint, back, shoulder or whatever problem.

Just completed a course, โ€œYoga & Naturopathy for Healthy Bones & Jointsโ€ recently and absolutely enjoyed it. This is the Level 2 course (four weeks course) held in November 2019. In the Level 1 course (April -May 2019), Monika introduced and guided us using the right techniques to relieve different aches and pain. Additionally, she also gave us many nutrition advise towards achieving better health. In Level 2, Monika continue to advise on easy to follow nutritional guide to be added into our diet. Level 2 was more advanced, with many more tips and techniques to practice yoga safely without props (as much as possible). Iโ€™ve gained more in-depth knowledge, and easy to follow notes and videos Monika developed helps me to practice at home more confidently. This course, โ€œYoga & Naturopathy for Healthy Bones & Jointsโ€ is scientifically proven to improve bones and joints health and Iโ€™m enjoying the pathway to better health. Monika was very attentive to everyone, and continuously gave tips and motivate us, so that we are able to practice yoga on our own after the course. Thank you Monika! Am looking forward to the next course you are working on :)
