β β β β β We booked and paid for 2 people for a journey from Penang to Hat Yai. They kept stopping and picked up passengers from other stops. This was okay, until at one point the car was overbooked and one of the travel coordinators (I don't know who) told me to sit closer to my partner as they wanted to put one more people. Of course I refused! This is not acceptable since we've paid and entitled for 1 seat each. In addition, it is not safe as well to travel for a long journey with this condition. Would not book and travel with them again in the future.

β β β β β 1* is even too much... avoid if you can !!! I spent 120RM for trip from Penang to Phuket should take 11 hours took over 14 hours - and it wasn't busy on the road. On the border driver told us we have to pay for travel insurance for traveling in Thailand - I've got one already but he said "okay okay you pay now" once again I've got insurance then he said "you must pay now" - 50 bahts / 7RM - ok maybe not huge amount of money but why pay twice for the same thing? Obviously his English wasn't good enough to understand what I meant so I paid him 7RM. In Hat Yai I was waiting for change to other minivan almost 2 hours. Driver was so slow and stopping in so many other places which definitely wasn't on the way to Phuket but nevermind. All local people he was dropping wherever they wanted. In Phuket I asked him to stop in Patong area - obviously he didn't even understood what I said to him. There was two or three other people to get to Patong however he stopped near coconut island - other side of Phuket where few local people was leaving van. He said "you in Phuket" gave me ma bag and left! I had to spend another 500bahts / 70RM to get taxi to my destination. Terrible service!!

β β β β β WORST BUS COMPANY!! I could give zero star if allowed!!! ??
Book a bus from Sungai Nibong to KL, the bus was late for almost an hour! After drove for less than one hour the driver detoured from the highway and stopped at an unknown village due to "brake not working", so we waited another 30min for the driver to fix that. After back to the road he made another stopover to drop & pick passengers. In total it took 7.5 hours to reach KL, almost double the normal time!! Such a ridiculous and irresponsible bus service provider!! If you are not ready to provide your service yet then please just stop doing, everyone's time is precious and shouldn't be wasted due to your lousy service!!
Avoid this bloody company for your own good please.

β β β β β Journey from Penang to Phuket took nearly 14 hours. The first half of the journey from Penang through the border to Hat Yai was fine, enough space on the minibus and the driver was really helpful and came looking for us all when it took nearly an hour to get through immigration. However, when we turned up at the office at 4:30am for our 5am bus it wasnt open and no one turned up until 4:50. Got dropped at Hat Yai and had to wait 2 hours for another bus to Phuket which was crammed full of bags and people, barely any aircon and the driver kept stopping to pick up parcels. Overall, its what I'd expect for how cheap they are, its just very confusing because they dont tell you whats happening just to get out the van.

β β β β β I booked a bus ride from Penang to Cameron Highlands and pickup from my hostel. They did not pick me up and forced me to take a bus 6 hours later. Even then the bus departed 1 hour late. Driver was incredible reckless on the windy roads to Cameron and he seemed tired/rubbed his eyes/texted the entire drive. A guy was smoking weed on the bus. If you value your time or life DO NOT BOOK WITH NEW ASIAN TRAVELS!!!

β β β β β I booked an early bus from Penang to Tanah Rata. The bus left the office 8:00 sharp, although we stopped at 2 more stops to get more ppl. Due to a massive congestion we arrived 2 hrs late which is not their fault. Also there were 2x10mins toilet breaks. They may not be super friendly, but I've seen much worse. Better experience than Vietnam for sure.

Reading these reviews I was really worried about the bus weβd booked - but in truth it was absolutely fine.
8am departure, depArted 8.10
Itβs a long journey to the Cameron Highlands - advertised as 5hr, ours took 6. Again, not unusual in Malaysia.
We booked our ticket on 12go and had no issues exchanging.

β β β β β From Penang George Town Komtar to Melaka Central, bus changes Then stopped in every single bus station in Penang, pickups from high ways you name it, the bus supposed to move out the island around 8:30 yet we end up moving around 11:30 instead we are at our third stop in KL and god knows when will we all arrive safely to Melaka, I got my ticket online through RedBus and that was a big mistake if you can get the train better go with it since this bus itself stopped near by that station at the main land, My day is gone now I thought this review might help any local or fella travelers from making my mistake, please avoid this New Asian Travel & Transports agency itβs totally no good. May the force be with us all.
