★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Take away the long drive and the fact that the restaurant has no airconditioning. That you have to order ahead. However, the food is quite amazing. The beggar's chicken was juicy and the meat was falling off the bone. The broth inside was aromatic and infused with herbs. The Eight Treasure Glutinous Rice was enough to feed 6-8 people and was loaded with fatty pork, oysters and salted egg yolks. Worth the drive anytime!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beggars chicken was excellent and definitely worth trying even though it's quite pricey. Sour plum honey were sold here with reasonable price. Taste of sticky rice so-so but love it as it has lots of salted egg yolk.

Famous chicken off the menu, can't dine in at all. Only take away service.
Boss you better close shop. Only open when you ready. TQ

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought the beggar’s chicken and glutinous rice only and the taste was just average. Not many places in Malaysia prepare such beggar’s cuisine and so can just consider this as a heritage restaurant. Go with zero expectations and you will feel better for an experience blending distance, time, ambience and taste as a whole. Note: remember to call for reservations and preorder before heading there.
