★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is this cheaper than something similar that I can get in SG? Yes. Most prob. But is it cheap enough where the locals here would eat? I seriously doubt so. A pot of lobster porridge is 200RM and 2 chili crabs is 150rm.
The steamed pork is quite decent. The chili crab was so so. The lobster porridge was yummy but the lobster was not as fresh as I hoped it would be.
All in all. I wouldn’t eat here again if given the choice coz it’s quite far and the prices are not that fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is moderately ok and price is reasonable. The teochew steamed fish we had was not fresh, tasteless. The restaurant occupied two shop lots with two floors. We were at first floor as ground floor was totally darkness due to power supply trip. This restaurant located approximately 15 minutes drive from Legoland. It is not difficult to track this restaurant which is 400m from cross- junction.

As I had pre ordered my dish for take away and by the time I reach, boss say have no record of my order.. thats very frustrating.. the boss is also too busy to talk to you to know more in details of the order.. and the staff do not know anything on the preorders

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple delicious dishes. Kids love it so much and requested to go back the next day for dinner.
Love the honey glazed chicken wings and last trip that was sub par standard so did not patronise for 2 years.
The wings today is juicy and delicious which restore my confidence again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is another great food venue for seafood and it is near to the second link. Many local come to this place for their meal too as the price is very reasonable. Be early so as to avoid the local crowds. I was there at 5:30 pm for dinner and the restaurant is already half filled. The food quality and quantity is very good. I can see many repeat customers coming back for their meals. I will surely return to this restaurant for another round of their mouth watery seafood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste slightly better than Old Chua Kee. Attitude same same... ? not fresh at all. We spent $165/kg for small crab but the meats sticked to the shell. Won’t be back again. Still prefer my favourite Tian Lai

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to wait for quite awhile as the tables are filled pretty early and we we ushered to the second floor. However the service on the second floor isn’t very efficient as there isn’t someone who is stationed there. The orders are taken for all the tables and sent to the kitchen at one go which may be why there is a bottleneck of orders to be served. We waited very long for the black pepper crab (close to 1 hour) and the gap between the dishes served is too long which doesn’t allow us to have all the dishes together.
Although they did inform us that we need to wait but there could be more done for a smoother service.
Food was good though so it’s definitely worth a visit for some nice crab and pork ribs. Will recommend to go earlier to avoid the long wait!
