Most ridiculous bank in JB. First time encountered an officer requesting for unreasonable documents so as to discourage you from opening an account. Perhaps, he was not happy to work straight after his lunch. That's why a few customers before me were turned down too. Bad service!

I am quite confused with the fund transfer. But Financial Consultant Carren Soh Cek Wei was very outstanding and patience to guide me through step-by-step in getting it done. You don't get that kind of service from Maybank unfortunately. Thank you Carren.

Weird services. All customers must be assigned to see the Tele Assistants before assigning us to proceed with our transaction. The purpose of meeting these Tele Assistants is because they will persuade us as customers to sign up all kinds of investment plans/saving plans. We are holding on to a job too. We are told by our bosses to go to your bank to renew deposits/deal with saving accounts or current accounts OR we skipped our lunch hour, hoping to solve our banking stuff or bank issue. After dealing with all these transactions, we have our own stuff to handle. We have no time to listen to ur plans. Spent nearly one hour on explaining all these plans and there are still so many customers waiting for you to explain your plans before they can get on with their transactions. Not considerate at all. The only plus point is this bank operates 7 days a week.

I suggest this bank need to improve its service; we waited outside of the bank with my baby under the sun for almost 2 hours and the line never move. Finally we were at the door but the Malay lady find all kind the reasons and just ask us to go. They are not friendly at all. Please improve attitude of all the staffs.

Normal customers has to queue outside under real hot sun at 10am when the sun shines towards the bank's front. We are not ikan kering or queue like bodoh just at the front walk way. Suggest OCBC either put lots of tall plants or large banner advertisement or canvas to block the sun's hot rays. Also add a large fan there will help ourside corridor.

It is not recommended to open a company account, there is no reply after waiting. The security guards are also very domineering, and there is no system as a whole. Unless you have the patience and time, it is not recommended to register for an account. It is true that lunch here is more important. As written by his customer

Called the call centre one day before i visited the physical branch at Taman Molek. During the visit to the branch, waited an hour for just the 5 numbers ahead of my turn. After an hour, when it was finally my turn, the staff told me, this cannot be done at branches. Perfect! best service ever!
