β β β β β Went for our iftar (combo set 2-3 pax) but we just came 2 person. The portion was large and seafoods also fresh. Just 1 thing that didnt suits our taste which we felt the spices are quite strong. Yet, different people different preferences, overall we were satisfied :)

β β β β β We recently had the pleasure of getting invited to review one of the latest additions to Bangsar eateries scene, Ombak Kitchen. They consider themselves to be the Best Halal Seafood Restaurant in Bangsar, and rightfully so! Ombak Kitchen serves genuinely affordable and incredibly fresh seafood. It is a fun filled family restaurant with the famous seafood boil concept originating from the state of Louisiana, USA. This concept is used to maintain the freshness and juiciness.

Service: Pretty good.
Price: Reasonable.
Atmosphere: Sometimes quiet, sometimes noisy.
Food quality: Drinking the apple juice was like drinking diabetes, too sweet and I couldn't finish it. Our first impression of the affogato was that it only fills half the cup and doesn't look impressive. Seafood tastes not bad.
My advice is to crack a bit of the crab/lobster shells during cooking like other restaurants as it was very difficult to peel, and it can deter customers from ordering here. One of us had our fingers stabbed by the shell while trying to get the flesh out.
It would be great to have more options for individuals too as majority of the sets are mainly for groups that want to share.
