This is also near city Center or Georgetown so there are also many food options nearby
You can easily spend a few hours walking around and there are many places to see like the art on the walls and also you can walk along the harbour and get to the jetties on the other side

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this was the night view. it was pretty but tons of areas are closed due to upgrades in progress which is a shame as there were not lots of people like the usual flow. not a good time to go penang apparently. they closed the lots of this area and we only could walk around this area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's partly under construction, seems they're building a ramp on top of the bunker areas for easy access. Note that the main gate have moved to the opposite side, so it's now near to the clock tower instead of the field. Plenty of parking on the street when we came around 4-5pm. Place is open up to 10pm but caretaker mentioned it's not too safe as it will be dark. If you're not careful you might wander to wrong area and fall off the high wall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to chill around at night. The world country light shows are nice to look at and just bring along your family with kids to stroll around the area. Got costumed people in all kind of costumes such as spiderman, squid game and even cowgirl if you're into taking pictures with them for a small fee. The food court is not far from here too so you can go have a walk and then eat or vice versa. Kudos to the city for living up the place as the seaside walk is still under construction. Good job

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place just complete renovated. Now is more wider to walking around. Close by has the food court and kid playgrounds too. Suggest visit on morning or evening, because hot temperature at noon time. Recommended place to visit with family members or dating couples.

Recommended to bring your family here to enjoy the night breeze and picnic as well if keen. A great place to hangout with friends and family. Quite a large crowd of people but social distancing was maintained throughout as the field is quite large. You'll notice vendors selling children lights toys way even past midnight throughout the field.
