★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had higher expectations when arriving for the first time. No doubt, very good presentation of the food. However taste leaves a little more to be desired to be on par with what it looks like.
Nothing that immediately stands out nor underwhelming. It is what you'd expect the food to taste like. Our Rendang Chicken Nasi Lemak was good but the chicken was red on the inside.
Credit must be given where it's due. Toast bread of Kaya butter was indeed good. Toasted to my liking which is just mid brown. Confident amount of butter which was a plus.
The tea though...honestly not good at all.
Much room to be desired for its price point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nasi Lemak and mee siam are good. The rendang chicken is super soft. Coffee is good if you like bitter coffee (some coffee ends with a sour taste). Polo bun could be better. Environment is comfy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try to park at parking lot before the restaurant. Parking charges just RM2 for per hour otherwise you have to take big u-turn to come back to this location.
The restaurant is very clean and well maintained with simple Kopitiam concept.
Their food is nice. We ate breakfast with Nasi Lemak, Siam buhin and tried their local made bun and roti bakar as well. Overall is satisfied and highly recommended if you want to have nice breakfast/lunch . ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a nice experience! I tried a Curry Puff and was the perfect balance between flavor and spiciness. Is difficult to find a curry puff where the spiciness does not hide the flavor (or the lack of it), in the case, the chefs at Padi Kopitiam have the certainty of the delicious flavor of their food and show it with pried. I tried the kopi, with and without ice, and was. always aromatic, with body and with the milky taste that I love (remember me the "cafe con leche" of my childhood in Lima, Perú). The roti (bread) with butter was simple and precise, the toast was crunchy and the butter (no margarine) was served in generous chunks that melt in the hot kopi (like the famous "bullet proof kopi" that I tried in Singapore). It is a nice place with the sympathy and kindness in the attention that characterizes the Malays. It has been really a pleasure to spend a moment of peace in this kopitiam and I will be back soon with my family to try dishes like the Nasi lemak, Asam laksa or the signature Smokey rice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice little cafe with good service. We had Rendang Chicken Nasi Lemak and Kaya Butter Toast. Both items were yummy. Really nice place to have a relaxing breakfast.
Update: we went back again for the polo bun and it’s awesome! It’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Really nice with the butter!
