There's a huge improvement can be done by the staffs especially at the payment counter.
Smile.
While browsing my clothes, I can see them smiling and making jokes between themselves as a fellow colleague, however, when it comes to the customers, they didn't or rarely smile at all.
Only a handful of them are actually smiling.
At least that's what I saw.
When asking "Cash or credit card?" to me, the handsome gentleman staff didn't smile at all and looked didn't bother asking the question.
Tbh, I don't mind he did that to me because he just might be tired, however, I work as a cashier too.
So, I know how impactful a smile is to the customers and how much it will give them and myself a satisfaction. We all will be happy.
As for the beautiful lady staff at the counter, please smile more often too.
And when a customer is paying with a credit card using PIN, please push the credit card scanner gently towards the customers and give instructions nicely to them.
Smile is really important especially when you're working at great place like PADINI.
I really love to shop there.
It's just a small thing that we, as Malaysian, always forget to do. However, we can change that one step at a time beginning with ourselves.
Smile more. And if the people you're smiling too didn't smile back at you, don't be sad.
You know you did a great thing by just a simple act of smiling.
