โ โ โ โ โ The food was great!! Price on the higher side but for the service and quality is considered quite reasonable. It was nice having a light lunch there, the xiao long bao was good , dumplings were amazing. Nothing special about the charcoal custard bun though, the bao is just black but no special taste. Appetizers were great. Quite many choices, so as they have lunch set too. Don't expect a very big portion for the normal Chinese takeaway you go!

โ โ โ โ โ When thinking about Xiao Long Bao dumplings, many may think of the famous Michelin-starred Taiwan Ding Tai Fung. There are still a couple of other chain restaurants here Malaysia that also serve good xiao long bao; and Paradise Dynasty is one of them. Having opened since Paradigm Mall PJ inaugurated, PD is quite popular among the patrons here. I visited PD again lately and glad that they have maintained the quality, for both their food and service. The popular items here are their xiao long bao (what else could it be?) and their soup noodle. The xiao long bao is very juicy and have a good umami taste. They have many choices of XLB here but I usually go with their original flavor. The noodle is hand-pulled and prepared upon ordering to ensure good textual and freshness. The noodle broth used to be extremely thick - sometimes too thick to one's liking. I notice they changed the "thickness" of the soup but yet it is still very good.

โ โ โ โ โ The food is nice but the service is needed to be improved a lot. Soup is served at first and together with white rice. Then it has been a 20 minutes of waiting for next dish, the rice is cold. Then no one come and clean up the plates which finished. No one help to clean up the dishes on table before serving next dish.
Side joke, 6 persons dining and planed to ordered a 6 pax family. The waiter asked am I order the 10 pax set. I was wondering where is the other 4 people.

โ โ โ โ โ Terribly short staffed. Queued outside the restaurant not being served by anyone more than 15 mins. The staff at cashier was busy with his phone under the cashier counter top.

โ โ โ โ โ UPDATE: Tried this restaurant again after two years and I am happy to report that their food is still good. Their Stir-fried Marbled Australian Beef with Scallion is still my family's fave. Taste just like how I remembered it. I do agree with one reviewer here that their noodle/wantan soup is warm instead of hot. Maybe there's a reason for it but I do prefer to have the soup at a higher temp. than it's served here.
Consistently good. This restaurant never fails to delight my parents who are not easy to please when it comes eating out. My 8th time coming back to this restaurant. Still good as ever.

โ โ โ โ โ An extremely interesting design where the restaurant is split in the middle by a canal (no water runs through it anymore), and at the end of it is a large resin Buddha statue complete with halo. Food quality is pretty good, but my only complaint is that their soups are always lukewarm, regardless whether I'm ordering the soup la mian or the pork-prawn wantans in soup (recommended). The double-boiled chicken soup is good. The portion of the stir-fried la mian is just enough for 1 pax (RM19.90).

โ โ โ โ โ The pork noodles is nice, it doesn't have the porky smell.
Xia long bao is really good and the spicy cold chicken! Their meal is not salty at all, and all cooked wonderfully to enjoy and share with loved ones.
Veggie bao is helpful to clean the palate after eating all meat. Will try their dan dan la mien next time.
It's always a happy day when eating a good chinese food, hopefully they will maintain their quality.
