β β β β β The guide and batik painters were very friendly. It was an informative trip. Loved it! The price of the batiks were pretty steep though. The men batik shirts were really attractive.

β β β β β The factory is in working order, and the clothes are bright colored and quite attractive as a souvenir. Prices are high, but the effort in making them is worth what you are paying for. Nice place to pay a visit.

β β β β β Wonderful place to visit. Beautiful batik designs and guaranteed quality. You can have a tour of the factory and even DIY pieces. I highly recommend visiting them.

β β β β β 1. I followed a tour of international delegates to this place who were keen to visit a factory and see how batik products were done and this is the ideal place.
2. It was a very educational tour and one can buy various types of products at factory rates and if I am not mistaken some rejects but not really to the train eye if they were around.
3. I really enjoyed this visit

β β β β β This Batik factory located at Teluk Bahang,Penang. The factory gives a great overview of how batik is done. The staff are very informative.. she show you the whole factory and its a really fun experience. The design and patterns very beautiful. The skill of the artists is excellent.Β Fun tour and recommend for families with older children. Plenty of parking lots. Free entrance. A must visit location if you have the chance drop by Penang.

β β β β β This is a MUST VISIT place in Penang when in a group. Established nearly 40 years ago, Mr Phua the humble co-owner and his staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Tried our hand at batik painting. Was very educational.
Bought some beautiful hand painted clothing with lovely colours. Prices are indeed reasonable considering the kind of craftsmanship that goes into the batik prints. A heritage Malaysians should be proud off and should be promoted domestically, more widely by the government and ministry of tourism.

β β β β β A good place to shop for batik. Find the short tour on batik making is fascinating and educating.
This traditional craftsmanship using wax and dye for decorating on a piece of large sheet of cloth are found similarly done in other parts of the world like Indonesia, China, Japan, India, South America etc. Exceptionally interesting for those who love anything relating to fashion studying and apparel making.
Free entry. Large space and well lit. Parkings available.
Do come if you visit Penang.
