★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Penang Lor Bak stall - I have been eating at this stall for the past 35 years and it is still my favorite stall today.
Everything served from Uncle Lau is amazing but my personal favorite is the heh chi (prawn fritters). The taukua-prawn combo is also pretty nice as well as the lobak and fried fish fillet.
Only problem here is parking which is a bit hard to come by unless you're willing to walk a little.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Lor Bak, housed in Kheng Pin coffee shop is another one of Penang's long standing institutions. It has been here for more than 50 years now, passed on from one generation to another.
The stall is so well known, it was flown to Adelaide back in the 70's to participate in a Penang food fair when Georgetown was declared a sister city to Adelaide in Australia. Also the vendor used to be a highlight of the annual Penang food fair in Singapore in the 80's.
With such an illustrious history, it's simply the best and most original Lor Bak one can find in Penang. Juicy pieces of pork wrapped in bean curd skin and deep fried to perfection. Apart from that, there are also prawn fritters and other offerings as well.
If you're from outstation and would like to have a taste of this back in your home, you can always opt for the frozen. uncooked lor bak, which is on sale at 10 rolls per pack.
You don't want to miss this - and your bucket list should include this when eating in Penang.
