The main reason I like this place a lot is that it offers amazing variety without compromising on quality. I tried the char kway teow — both the duck egg and chicken egg versions. They did not disappoint one bit though I prefer the duck egg one. Lor bak was nicely fried and wasn’t drenched in oil.

Lor Bak is highly recommend. Tasted very fresh and crispy. Others food has nasi lemak and wanton new.

This is one Kopitiam that reminds me of the childhood comfort foods. Lobak, Porridge and wanton mee all carries childhood memories. Love to come here for a simple and relax brunch with some heritage atmosphere. Will come back again to try others foods too. All looks good.

We visited the coffee shop for Lor Bak. But the lor bak has not reach my expection. Not too bad but it is not that special as rated. The coffee and tea were badly brew. It was tasteless and so diluted So unexpected to have this standard of coffee in Penang.

The lobak is something you must try. Apart from that I will also recommend the char kuay teow, hokkien mee and the nasi lemak. Basically all foods here looks delicious. Salute to all the old uncles and aunties are healthy to make delicious food for us.

Came to Kheng Pin not for the Lor Bak but for the highly recommended Hainanese Chicken Rice that apparently Singaporeans compare to the ones served at Mandarin Orchard. The Chicken Rice was no doubt outstanding, the meat was tender and the balance of sesame oil, chicken stock and soya sauce brings out the full flavour. However, at RM18.00 per large portion (full leg and liver), it is rather expensive.

I'm supoost to give 5 star for the food in this restaurent... Why I take our 1 star.... Over all the food is superb and very authentic but their beverages are too bad. Coffee not as good like other place, so we got to order can drink like coke or 100plus to make sure they don't charge us for dint order drinks. The fried noodle are super good and what me me feel super enjoy is their lohbak... Must order!!! Chicken rice also very good... No chicken stinky smell and the meat are super soft and tender. But pls don't order their coffee...

An old guard of George Town. It still serves the basic local authentic street food. If you are searching for the food soul of Penang, you have come to the right place. One star missing is because i hate the amenities like basic washrooms are generally lack of attention. Good food and reasonable price. Food operators observed very good hygienic manner. All face masks were properly put up. I didn't see any foreign helpers in the coffee shops.
