The facilities still need to be improved . But what makes me speechless is the lockers need to be charged 50sen every time you opened the locker, and the worker doesn't allow us to take the bag inside which was so inconvenient to us. Secondly, the seating is too little for visitors, I think the authority should be increase more seat for visitors to encourage them to visit library more frequent. Also, the operating hours of library should be more longer (at least from 8am to 11pm)and should be available every day since government want to encourage the citizens to develop their reading habits, I think this is the most basic things that should be done.

Staff friendly. RM10 for member card (per year). Place so comfortable with good facilities. Can bring your kid as they have library for kids (any age can enter). But my suggestion, I hope there will be more latest books (especially for non fiction) and toys at kids section (educational toys). Thank you.

I as a student think,it is better if the library open for everyday, because as for myself, I have online class until 5pm. If I want to have study group with my friend,we only free on weekends. please at least open until lunch hours for weekend. Thank you.

The library is very condusive and comfortable to study at. The library collection is okay, but not quite as expansive. I tried searching for books on cyber security but was very disappointed to find only 2 English books related to the subject. The library online catalogue is not intuitive enough. Some of the books are available but their location is not specified. Some do have their location updated but it's quite ambiguous as to which department the book is located. Also, the WiFi is very, very slow, troublesome (I use Linux, so setting up the connection required some thinkering), and YouTube is blocked! Not a very good study place if you're going to rely on video tutorials, but if you don't mind the WiFi, it's still quite okay. Regarding the facilities, there are quite a few interesting one. There are Panggung 3D (RM7), Bilik Aspirasi Remaja (it's a music room, RM30/hour), iMac (RM2/hour), and Petrosains Play Smart. Also, electric plug is charged at RM2/hour. Overall, it's quite okay. The building's nice but it's not a good place to study or do any work if you rely heavily on Internet.

The public library in Kuantan, best place to study with free wifi. Have collection of books and science playground for kids at ground floor. You can charge ur gadgets for rm2/hour.

The ambient is nice and comfort to study/work. However, I think the rental price to use the power docket/socket RM2/hour is to much. I've been to Library Raja Tun Uda in Shah Alam govern by PPAS and the charge rate was RM2/day instead by hour. I've been to Library in Putrajaya and they never charge at all (surprisingly). I wonder if the people living in Kuantan can afford that rate especially students. Imagine if staying there for a day 9am-5pm (5 hours average) equal to RM10. In 10 days it cost RM100. I felt that it is not public library anymore but private library (profit oriented). I hope the management see this review and review back on the decision made.
