Brought in my laptop to check a startup problem about a month ago.
Suspected it might be battery issue as I could switch on the laptop after taking out the battery myself. When I called, I asked if they could help check if this is covered by warranty with ASUS. It seems that they're more interested in selling a RM400+ replacement battery (not original) rather than helping a customer to problem solve.
When I went there personally, they never checked with ASUS and referred me to go to ASUS service center directly as I did not feel like paying RM400+ for a laptop battery before confirming the root cause. Luckily I went to ASUS service center and the person in charge checked that it was a BIOS update issue rather than hardware issue, saving me replacement cost. The extended warranty is a RM280 rip-off purchase-12% of laptop price (which by the way can buy a new SSD) with lack of professionalism or assistance on their side. There are many other PC stores in Penang to go to besides this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to give 1 star for the incompetent staff. Didn't inform me in advance regarding extended warranty. I already paid when i realized on the receipt that i have been charged extra rm2++ for the warranty. Which is absurd. So i go back and dispute so they said will refund but it will take 14 days for it to appear on my credit card. Since they closed on Sundays, i had wasted 2-3 days. I just hope they can manage to refund it back before i got interest charge from my bank. Really disappointed and hope that for new customer check everything before u pay because the u can't trust the staff here. Thanks

So there is huge needs of computer hardware & software.
