★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks like i stayed at cheap hotel, not well train front desk, need to pay rm10 for parking in front of hotel but parking staff not wear a proper hotel uniform, and disaster for me is no iron when my wife ask for it. Only can get iron at 9 am when house keeping staff on duty. Keep calling receptionist but not pick up the phone, i even call them using my own phone twice and still no one pick up... not recommended and this is the first and last stay here..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed. The room air conditioning not cold enough. However the free upgrade my booking to bigger room, but I'm not satisfied about they are miss understanding my required, I just need a king size bed, why give me two single bed ??? And the dinner, oh my god ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband just book this hotel to get some leisure..but I call receptionist to give some decorations since today is my husband's birthday..and surprisingly I got the birthday decorations for free!! Im not expecting to high..but the decorations, slice of cake n their effort too much to appreciate it..i really love it cause it will cost RM120++ for the decorations at another hotel..thank u so much..
Otherwise, the air-conditioning just nice..not too cold, not to warm.. I am expecting doesn't have any view..but i got pool n lake view since my husband just book classic room..but the pool maybe suitable with the kids cause it is like beach pool which everywhere have sand..overall..im satisfied..i dont want to complain too much..cause im having a good sleep here ✌️?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 2 nights.
Front desk: read many negative reviews and did not expect much from my stay. During checkin time i was asking the front desk why there is no renovation done for the hotel. He answered me in a very POLITE way saying that their hotel only manage to maintain a few floors due to the mco. Mco must hits all these hotels hard since no exhibition or conference can be held at the Mines.
Room: old BUT WELL MAINTAINED. No weird smell. Huge bathroom with a clean brand new looking bathtub. View is fantastic for me. Looking at swimming pool and lake in the evening has an unusual feeling of calmnsss and peacefulness in this busy town.
Swimming pool: green colored water but i have seen employees cleaning up in the evening. Hav some interesting kids slides reminds me of 90s somehow. This place must had its glory time many years back.
Kudos to the team in maintaining the resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoy my staycation here. The beach is quite nice eventhough it is not big. It also got sand near the beach. They also have a movie night and provide mat and bean bags to watch movie. But the room quite smelly. More like smell of wood or rugs. I’m not sure but I guess maybe because it is old?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location was good with a short drive out from the toll. You don't need to drive into the city centre and face the dreaded jams. A huge shopping complex just beside (~2mins drive). Very convenient.
The hotel was a bit old. You can imagine their original concept but mostly now are all abandoned. Common area cleanliness was ok. Plus point was that you'll be greeted by a huge and very nice lobby. The mini beach was OK but the 'sea' water was very dirty. The idea was to contain natural water from rain (like sea) but due to the size was very small, the water was not 'changed'. If it was a pool, you'll have water filtration and even cleaning occasionally.
The room was acceptably spacious for a standard room. However the cleanliness was very poor. The bedsheets have stains on them (see photo) and we had to request for a change. The carpet and floor was dirty too. Our feet was dirty / black on the sole after walking on them. So we had to wear our shoes in the room.
I would like to end the review with a positive though. The staff friendliness and service were above expectation. Check in was fast. The front desk staff was friendly. We even had small chat while checking in. Later on, We had a request for help on the room tv and asked for maintenance help. The staff came immediately even though we said come 1 hour later as we knew the Muslim staff was breaking fast. However, the staff who came to our room only had a simple break and he said he will eat after attending to our issue. We felt guilty but appreciated his fast response. Everytime we drove into the front of the hotel, there was always a friendly staff who came and prepared to provide whatever necessary assistance. Even when there was nothing for him to do, he will still stand at the side watching and ever ready to help, when needed.
All in all, a good experience made sweeter by the staff. Kudos. Would get 5 stars if the room condition can be improved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Checked in on weekdays. Was dissatisfied t restaurant was not operating. On y booking.com written there 'breakfast available pay at the property' ?. Phone does not working. T room is nice I love it but massively need to upgrade t bathroom!at-least make it clean! Bathtub not clean at all. Even t view is nice but its like a dead place for me on that time. No guard at all at t entrance. Check in time was at 12!latest 12pm. Front Desk staff was nice(only fo staff existed as i only can c them working)? If only I need to stay sg besi area ..Definitely will come again ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good (low) price for a comfy room. At far distance from public transport. I would say, only for people with own transport. Best use (google) maps to find hotel entrance.
Breakfast currently only available on Friday and Saturday (see photo).
Shop(s) in hotel remain closed.
Hotel is very much into earning money. Car park close to entrance costs 10 RM. Why? no idea…. Swimming pool for kids also costs money (see photo).
A bit a run down place that probably experienced better times.
Next time, I would take hotel closer to areas with shops, etc.
