The good stall or food there have degraded terribly. The notable stall is Chun Piah / Roti Babi stall only. The outstanding Duck Meat Koay Teow Th'ng is no longer tasty and the soup is sugar sweet. Majority of the staff are foreigners whom are the one operating the stall. SAD, SAD and dissapointed.

One of the places to eat here in Penang at night. The lok lok comes with quite a variety of sauces and the uncle keeps on refilling the sticks on your table. I also like the roti babi and spring rolls here .. rarely one will find hawker stalls selling these spring rolls.and roti babi in Penang. The fried oyster is just so so while the hokkien mee (or prawn mee) i find it too light for my liking. Parking can be a hassle here though.

Taste wise was very nice but cleanliness, hmm, it depends how you see it, and for me, since every raw food is placed in front of you, when you chat, sneeze or cough, all the saliva would be on the food, so ya, not so good IMO

Enjoy an Omnicron moment stuck in a hangry crowd dipping away in hot soup.

Crowded place and food tasted average only, if you worry about social distance then pls avoid this place because you will need to share table and pot with strangers.

Must come for the a one of a kind lok lok experience - dining with strangers on the same table and having an array of food (that’s constantly refilled) already on the table even before u find a seat. The uncle who counts the sticks to collate the bill is quite the sight too ?

Unique experience you should try in Penang. You pick whatever you like, put it in the pot and enjoy with 5-6 types of sauce they provide. Sauces were yummy! You will find at least one type you like. Besides the boiled ones, they have fried skewers too. Lots of skewers variety, from fishballs, crabsticks, seafoods, veggies, dumplings, quail eggs, etc. The sticks have different colors with different prices. Price are quite cheap too. I got 5 skewers for RM 9,4. The downside is it is very crowded.. but if you come earlier like at 4pm, you can have a table by yourself or share with 1-2 people only.
