Was pleasantly surprised at the variety. Tried out the char hor fun (not to be mistaken with char kuey teow), fried glass noodles, almond milk, geng geng water, and the lok lok was super crazy with variety. Only drawback was it didnt have any ice kacang. Very good.

Still can consider the price are cheap and the food was good, u can have a lot of choice here. The main problems will be a bit difficult to find parking lot

The star attraction is the Koay Teow Thng that has its own review page. A decent bowl with twin fishballs is RM5.50 (2022) The less decent bowl is found on the weekend. Tried the Curry Mee with disastrous results for my kid, who ended up vomitting later, food poisoning likely due to the prawns or cuttlefish. I was fine though despite eating the cockles and pigs blood. Pay RM6 to get sick. Second attempt survived unscatched. The soup is less flavourful compared to the better morning bowl served at Chowrasta, Kuantan Road or Cecil Street markets. Another stall sells fried noodles like Hokkien Char(RM6) with some effort. Char koay teow is a popular dish but RM6.50 only buys an egg free version. The bakery stall is also popular but he doesn't bake so his Nyonya kuih are a disastrous version at RM1.00 a piece.

4th day of border reopening, I returned to one of my favourites spots to catch my dinner and supper. Tonight I ordered the duck meat Koay Teow Soup but unfortunately duck meat sold off (I saw a long queue of takeaway) so I resolved to order the normal fish and meatball variation (5stars). It tasted so good. Maybe it has been too long that I dine out. I also tried the Asam Laksa (4stars), Hok Kian Mee (5stars) and Fried Oyster (3stars). I know I am a bit greedy tonight but I am a very happy man.

Our initial plan is to have lok lok but it was so crowded around 7pm. Maybe we should go earlier next time. So we try out the curry mee and asam laksa. Surprisingly taste good....yummy! Will definitely go back for lok lok!

Located near the Gurney Plaza, famous for its local dishes. The best time to dine in starts from 4pm to 830pm..thought stores are still operational at 0930pm but most of the dishes are sold off, good location for visitors who wants to try out the local dishes

Ordered some food here, some hit, some miss. My son love their pork satay, even though the skewers isn't big, but very tasty. Asam laksa is good.
