★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Minutes walk away from Petaling street, KL's Chinatown, and just beside Pudu Sentral. For decades, the stalled development, which the station got its name from, lies abandoned just next to it. Station is above ground so there's no air con.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Near with UTC KL. Siapa nak gi UTC KL, boleh turun sini. Plaza Rakyat LRT Station is connected with MRT Merdeka (too far, but they provide the pathway with travelator like in the airport). Thanks to Najib Razak

A happy day indeed as my wife had left her passport in the previous station and things could have been a nightmare. Thank you very much for your prompt response !! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exterior is dilapidated due to the abandoned construction site. The linkways leading towards the station are poorly maintained, and can get very dark at night. Feels like something straight out of a developing country. One of the worse areas of KL. The only good thing is that its connected to Merdeka MRT station via an underground linkway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very impressed with the service offered by the staff and Railway itself. Many miles ahead of my home country as well as certain leading countries like USA.
Their token system is very helpful and the cleanliness of the station is adequate. However we have witnessed certain beggars on the way, so hope those issues will rectify near future

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A station that only is used to half of its potential, as there is no way to go to the North en East sides of it. Hence, no connection to the Pudu Sentral busstation, nor can this station be utilized for people from the adjacent Roberson Residences and Swiss Hotel. Unless you are willing to walk a detour of 10 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are heading towards Petaling Street, it's more convenient and safer to walk from Merdeka MRT station which is interconnected via an underground tunnel. This station is terrible due to the abandoned Plaza Rakyat project next to it. Unless the project accomplishes, this station will remain at this state sadly - something beyond RapidKL's control.
