渔船用油量惊人，很多人吃鱼不知捕鱼苦，幸好目前还有津贴柴油，要不然渔民真的不知道还要怎样出海。渔船分为A、B、C及C2，A为最小的船，C2最大，但是C2是没有柴油津贴的。适耕庄渔村最要是B及C船，A只有少数也以马来人为主。大家一定很好奇渔船用油量如何惊人，首先我们以B牌渔船来说，平均一个月需要11000-13000Liter(捕鱼)或7000-9000Liter(捕虾)。如果C船，出海一趟10天大概需要9000Liter。所以平均来看，B船一天大约500-800Liter，C船800-1000Liter一天。可以想象吗?摩托车添满约5Liter，汽车添满30-60Liter之间。
