★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a rather unsatisfactory experience at this store. We were interested in the necklaces, but the shoplady seemed unfriendly and did not seem too keen to show or recommend us anything. In most of the jewelry stores I’ve been to, they would at least ask “what kind of __ are you looking for?” and probably show us some things that we might be interested in. I could understand the “feel free to look around and let me know if there’s anything you’re interested in” approach but she really just left us hanging, and did not explicitly state such things.
Also, I understand that due to COVID, there may be certain procedures to follow, perhaps not letting us touch or try jewelry on, but surely it’s fine to take out some things from the glass so that your customers can take a closer look? Whatever it is, it would’ve been far better if she’d mentioned it upfront, and not be aloof about it :(
I hope that this applies to only that particular shoplady, or she was just having a bad day and was eager to finish her shift early or anything of that sort. I’m sure the store has a lot to offer, but I truly hope that they’ll have improved their customer service by now.
