J	Johnson Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best shop which offers hand made pau (包）. Petai pau is one of the kind which hardly found in other shops. Recommended to dine in or take away as the shop is not far away from the Alor Gajah highway toll.

The Petai Pau is something new to me and it is delicious. Beside Petai Pau, I also ordered the Curry Laksa. The Curry Laksa is very different from what I have eaten elsewhere and it is really good, with plenty of lemongrass aroma and taste. No disappointment despite travelling over 40 plus kilometers ???.

Aside from usual Chinese flavour bun like sweet lotus, kaya, peanut, red bean the owner has created his own petai or bitter bean Mantou. Petai is grown widely around the area and u may see some seller by the roadside. Mixed with onion this is flavourful. Also try their curry chicken mantou bun. Opens 0600-0630 and closes by 530-6pm or when sold out. This is a pork free restaurant. The owner is of Hainanese descendant. They also serve usual Hainanese local bread with soft boiled eggs.
