★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We celebrated this year's Christmas Eve here with our elders. The choice is clear as they serve healthy and traditional Chinese rice and noodle dishes. Some of us are vegetarians and we were delighted that they have quite an extensive vegetarian menu. We ordered some delicious vegetarian steamed dumplings in addition to some dishes and noodle. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. Who would have thought that besides tea beverages, Purple Cane Tea house also serves palatable cuisines.
We finished our dinner with a "4 seasons pudding dessert" as the host walked us through a journey of summer, autumn, winter, and spring. It is a highly recommended sharing dish for family as the palate enjoys from mild to caramel sweetness, tea infused dessert.
Our simple evening transpired into a culinary enjoyment for our family. Highly recommended for tea lovers, hungry tummies, vegetarian foodies, and health conscious diners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dine in for dinner, have to wait quite long time for the food and drinks. They also didn't put any icon at the menu for the food that is sold out. That time some of the food and drinks sold out and we only knew this when the waiter is ready to write the order. So he has to wait again for us to reconsider what meal we would like to order after we knew some food was sold out.
So if possible, make a reservation and let them know the food and drinks you would like to order. Hope this can reduce the waiting time.
Food and drinks considered okay. The staff are polite. So around 3 to 4 stars.

Next, don't miss the assortment of Chinese tea here. The variety of premier quality tea products neatly and systematically displayed on shelves qualifies this eatery centre as a Tea House. Your eyes will grow wide on the choices. Do get a few useful tips on brewing and drinking Chinese tea from the staff. The overall theme is appreciating and sipping Chinese tea as an art. For your information, this building was once the location of the traditional Foh San dim sum restaurant many years ago.

Cons:
☑️Better not coming during lunch time because if there’s no chef ??, i might need to wait LONG (the staff will let you know if you’re willing to wait for one hour)
☑️I feel that’s it’s not quite professional to let customers to wait for chef to come back from lunch break but At least they let us know.
☑️During our time, most of the desserts we want is not available/sold out ☹️☹️
☑️Drinks and Pudding is the only available on the spot (more than 10mins waiting tho) while chef is not around.
**We ordered main dishes after finished our pudding at the end when customers is lesser and think that the chef is available (Waiting time is more than 10mins) but didn’t take pictures ?
☑️I recommend Green tea and caramels pudding ! ✨✨
