★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I honestly had a great experience with Cemerlang. The administration and staffs were very helpful even when I had to reschedule lessons >5 times (appreciate the flexibility). Every one of the many instructors I met were good teachers and their advice (eg. tips on how to memorise the routes etc) helped a lot on exam day. Some were more attentive than others but overall none were mean or rude and you can really tell that most of them are dedicated to and enjoy their job. A few times I was only available for lessons after the set time and Cemerlang arranged for teachers to stay back to teach me and covered the fee for me which I was surprised at. I think they also have a transport service where they’ll pick up students which is really nice even though I didn’t need it. They were also really inclusive and reassured another student who couldn’t speak BM well that they would coach him on RPK separately later (and there's demonstrations for RSM playing on TVs at all times). I wish I knew the names of some teachers who were very encouraging to me so I could thank them here, but anyway thank you to all the instructors who taught me well so I was able to pass on the first try! Just received my license today and would definitely recommend Cemerlang :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed and inconvenience with the customer service here, they never answer call and even worst is they never call back. They are not responding in the telegram in direct message and the group they asked us to join. I have evidence proof of the non-responding message in the telegram and WhatsApp. For those whom are seeking for this centre, you need to be expect this will happen and be patient of their irresponsible and unreachable services!! Please at least answering the call. (PS: I never call on midnight or afterwork hour timing)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this place is horrible. Literally please don’t study here.
Due to 4 months lockdown, I wasn’t able to study which is completely understandable. now when I do, they won’t answer my calls at all(for booking purposes). And what’s worst is that I’ve called more than 10 times ON BOTH NUMBERS. Its testing my patience.
Please save your time and mentality by not coming here. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reviews about that Malay female instructor are true. Her mannerism is truly shocking. She doesn't seem like she likes her job at all, she just sits there and when a different instructor asks her to teach a student she ignores both the instructor and student. No idea why she's still allowed to be part of the team, the other instructors are way more friendly and polite. Hopefully she gets sacked soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service by employees, the driving instructors don’t teach most of the times, they assume the students know how to do everything and the driving school always postpones jpj dates with the excuse that the JPJ is the one always forgetting to key in information and stuff. The head of the school also sometimes not so help-full to answer students. If there were other choices in Penang Island, i rather you all go there and avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I personally do not really recommend u all came here. Sometimes if too many people keep calling u to take the extra class. I don't know whether they really didn't have a number limit like how many students only. Why always not enough teacher then call many students to come n learn nothing. Some of the time if u didn't get a car/tutor to teach u drive, they will call u go for listening to the rpk.We are paying money to learn not to sit down wait n wait. But some of the tutors are really good to have teach the technique to pass.Last I week I called many times n no answer until I call the office number only know they have changed the number because of busy n find many excuse.If I didnt call the office line ,so didnt have any notice to inform tat the line is not accepting the call.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LESSON TO LEARN ..Pls check if this is 1 to 1 lesson. Was told have 2 hours to learn each time. BUT!!!!! I wasn't know the 2 hours will have few students share the same car with you. Meaning to say that you will be given not even 40 mins to drive and learn the skill each time!!! I am not happy with this kind of arrangement.
