β β β β β we tried chicken mandy the most basic arabic food but the taste was tasteless. Same with other dishes not so good..my bad day i guest so not many food were ready around 7pm & guest what i never want to came here at the moment. maybe i can try here again through grab food if it has changed as this was my review last year.
honest review among 3 restaurants nearby , for mandy rice lamb kebab etc i will eat at hadramat but when come to special day i went to yahala bcause of dcoration & most important their kunafah was really nice compare to hadramat ???

β β β β β I had mandy rice for lunch and oh boy it is delicious. U can taste the smokiness from the rice and the lamb is so tender. The best mandy rice i ever had so far.

β β β β β My first time dining here because the other restaurant has ran out of Lamb Mandy. That will be my meal when I visit to any Arab restaurants. It was an unplanned visit as I had to fetch my daughter from the Gombak LRT station right after breaking fast at home. The Mandy Lamb rice didn't disappoinment me, Lamb Kabsah rice as well as Kebab Halabi. Maybe I was hungry, hahaha. But when it comes to Lamb Mandy, the only thing I know is the plate will be left empty! Bring it on! There was a birthday celebration for one of the diners and they played Arab birthday song! I need to learn Arabic fast. Hahaha. So far, thumbs up.

β β β β β Was here for the first time on May 12, 2022. Just wanted to have Arab food for a change.
Ambience was nice, at least don't have those heavy bulk furniture like at Hadramaut but the air con sucks. It was blowing at my feet until I asked for the louvers to be shifted. And still wasn't cool enough.
We had our usual Barbican drinks, our favorite but they didn't have our favorite Raspberry flavor.
We tried the usual Chicken Mendi rice which was average, a little bland but the soup that came with it was good but didn't like the chilli dip, hot and not spicy.
The bread was great, it remains crispy and not chewy after it cooled down.
The Taboleh veg was tasty, not too salty and not dry like at the other restaurant. The lamb stew was good.
We were still hungry so we added the kebab which was good. The meat wasn't dry or overcooked. It was still tender and tasty.
Overall the service was prompt and good. We will definitely come back to try other dishes.
