★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The main deity of this temple is Kapitan Shen Meng Li, also known as Kapitan Shin Kap, the first Kapitan China of Sg. Ujong (the original name of Seremban). Believed to be built by the tin miners in 1861, a year after the Kapitan was beheaded. Local legend has it that when the Kapitan was beheaded, white blood miraculously gushed out and it was thus believed that he was an extraordinary person. Kapitan Shin Kap was reputed to be the "spirit" adviser of Yap Ah Loy during the Selangor Civil Wars.
Yap Ah Loy together with the support of the Chinese community in KL subsequently also built another temple to honour Kapitan Shin Kap in 1882. This temple is widely known today as the Sin Sze Si Ya Temple located in Leboh Pudu, KL.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It isnt clean.. Water isnt as clear as crystal clear... Not well maintained..? Pity the turtles having to live in a dirty area..Turtles couldn't really breathe.. Just hoping they can improve by making it cleaner..? The building itself is nice and beautiful. Many people came to pray and donate money☺️ I hope they can use the money we donated to fix some things and also make it look nice and better? Will be awaiting for it?
