A private island just 10 mins away from langkawi island. Great place for retreats. Be prepared no phone line (phone call/sms) for digi users. Wifi provided still good. Booked package with meal provided. They have happy hours 50% on 5-7pm for drinks. Overall their food and drinks is good. Most impressive was the chocolate & strawberry milk shake in breakfast. Live band during dinner time. This island is best for relax and chill.

Considering it is a 5 star resort, this place is not on par with other similar 5 star resorts. First of all, the travel to and from the island and is by boat on a fixed schedule. Anything outside of this you have to pay 160RM one way. The room was dated (the entire resort is very dated) and there were marks on the bedsheet. Be prepared for bugs, insects and small geckos. We had 2 geckos in the room including one in the bed. Mosquito repellent is provided but hidden away as well. Furthermore, the island is on the Langkawi flight path, so you hear the airplanes roaring every 30 minutes. The rooms were not of a 5 star hotel standard. There is only one restaurant on the island, the menu is ok, but for vegetarians it is limited. We also had dinner on the beach which was the exact same menu but on the beach rather than in the restaurant (it is overrated). This is not worth the money. The nature trail was horrible, there is a lot of litter, plastic, burnt rubbish around which makes you think they do not care for the island, this was disappointing. The walk is also not well signposted. We enquired about activities such as snorkeling, boat tours for island hopping etc. First of all the snorkelling was not available, then all the boat tours were from the mainland rather than the island itself, this means that you have to factor traveling on the boat from the mainland back to the hotel (which as previously mentioned is fixed times). We were expecting more activities directly from the hotel since it was a private island. Overall, whilst it's nice to be on a private island, the hotel is not worth it, with dated infrastructure, poor facilities and half the facilities aren't open, such as the pool bar. Would not stay again and you are best off staying at another 5 star resort if you are looking to spend similar amount of money.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Our package via Agoda came with one lunch and dinner too. Boat transfer was very smooth and only 10 mins boat ride. Once you arrive, the buggy takes you to check in, then to your room. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful. Bathroom is huge with a tub. Nature lovers will love this place as it is very calm and serene. We had good views of the full moon, and also beautiful sunrise. Next is the food - the breakfast spread is reasonable and food is very nice. The portions are big too, and easily can be shared between 2 people. The big plus point about Rebak Island are it’s staff. All of them were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They were always smiling, even though they were busy. My wife told them it was my birthday and they surprised me with a decorated table, cake and also balloons in the room. Special thanks to Ms. Ayu from reservations and Mr. Fitri and Mr. Murali from F&B for this. For those who complained that the food is expensive, I found it reasonably priced given that this is a private island and logistics costs would definitely be higher. However, food is tasty and portions are big, so it’s worthwhile. Will definitely come back here soon!

Great place to visit, beautiful ambience. Probably they need to improve the staffs english and the quality of the food thats being provided to the clients. And also, it is very expensive compared to the star rating the hotel has. Could be recommended but considering their monetary status.

Good place to stay if you want some private time away from the world with no disturbances. Rooms are good, spacious and clean. Nice bathrooms. Mine was one room with Seaview, enjoyed having drinks outside by the verandah overlooking the ocean, also enjoyed lying down at the beach. Please only come to this place if you're looking for quiet time as it is a private island with beaches and nothing else. There's only the hotel's restaurant. If you want to do shopping, you'll have to take the boat back to the main island and then from there, get your own transport(taxi/Grab) At night, it's extremely quiet. You can hear the sounds of birds and bugs, watch the stars from the beach, talk a walk in moonlight. Very romantic. Last boat in/out the island is at 8-8.30pm. Service is average, I would say. I've stayed here back in 2015 and the service that time was way better. In terms of food, not much choices, but the food tastes good. Again, it's a decline from 2015 but still good. Internet service is bad but really not needed if it's the kind of vacation where you want to unwind. All in all, I had a wonderful time. It was the exact kind of holiday I needed. Wouldn't mind coming again.

This Rebak Island is a private island where u have to take ferry from cenang jetty. The hotel provide their own ferry and they have their own schedule. It's a 5 star resort with beautiful & clean beach. We booked 1 bedroom suite including all time meals because there is no other restaurants around. So it's better to book the room with meals. Or bring your own food. Breakfast was limited choice due to this pendamic. Room was extremely clean and service was very good. Staff was very helpful. This place is ideal for couples or groups gatherings. Pool was clean. Room was spacious. And 5 star for the bathroom. Overall it's a beautiful place. Worth for money.

Beautiful resort island, I do recommend it for two days not more, the bad things about it is as follow: 1. One restaurant in the whole resort and the food is really bad we tried dinner for two nights, one time we ordered al a caret, Malaysian food as we wanted to try it in our first day and it was really disappointing, second night we went for the bbq theme night and it was horrible and waste of money, last day we did the breakfast as we wanted to give one more chance to the chef but also it was a failure, it’s a pity such a nice place with horrible food and no choice. 2. The resort rooms need to be more serviced and renovated, our room was smelling bad from humidity and so many things looked so old we stayed in the sea view room which is not bad with the view. One more thing no service at the pool area at all. The reason I gave 3 stars is the island experience and the Area is really nice with nature just they need better management for the resort and this place can be an amazing heaven escape.

With the stay here coming to an end today, feel like we should have had another couple of days for this serene island property. The hotel is really nice, has a warm, age old and a typical tropical look and feel to it. The staff is welcoming and hospitable. They provide free pick up and drop at scheduled hours from the nearest jetty terminal at Cenang. That probably is also a draw back that you have to reach back before the last one departs for the hotel or else pay to get an exclusive one to drop you after the last ride back. The property has a small private beach front and a lovely swimming pool. The whole property is extremely beautiful and scenic with lots of green all around. The rooms are big, equipped with modern amenities however the doors and fittings do need an over hauling or need to be changed. Breakfast options too need some tweaking as there are very limited options for vegetarian and vegans. Considering tourists from across the globe and from India they should have a varied menu. Over all the property is really cool and I'd like to rate it 4.5. Can surely come back only to stay at the place. One should plan atleast one full day only for the property or may a day and half. Great staying at the Rebak Island Resort & Marina. ?????
