★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coffee from Reframe Coffee Roasters taste pretty good, and the whole shop fill with coffee bean’s smell as they had a mini roaster inside the shop. You can buy coffee beans from them as they had beans from different country and different type of roasting for the beans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service in the cafe is quite good, but not the network ( or maybe only that day). I was attracted by the high rating reviews in google but I am slightly disappointed. I ordered ice mocha, less ice, more coffee, less chocloate with a more bodied taste. The first thing I noted was the portion of coffee is quite small. Secondly, as it is ice, there is no spoon or anything I can stir on. So I can only swirl the cup hoping it would mix well but it didnt. There was sendiment at the bottom. For mocha, I actually think that it shall consist both chocolate and coffee taste and one of it comes first while the other one appears after you swallow it. But there wasnt any of them. The coffee taste is not strong and has a bit stronger sour aftertaste which does not go that well with mocha in my opinion. The coffee tastes relatively diluted. I will probably go for the service but not for the coffee.
Additional notes : I paid a second visit today and tried their hot mocha, i have to admit it tastes really nice, just exactly what I like. But one star deducted because I still dont like the ice version ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and knowledgeable. Coffee is great. Came in to see if they had some light roasts, but ended up tasting a few of their specialty coffee from Ethiopia, Colombia, Brazil (cold brew and V60).
Barista explained a bit on coffee processes like anaerobic and carbonic maceration (CM), the way it changes the mouthfeel and body of coffee, and so on.
Overall, wonderful and would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are famous of their coffee roasters. The coffee bean can be industrial standards costly. However, as I stopby in a rush to get a quick boost and work a bit between schedule, I get a simple americano and waffle at only RM15 for such "basic" set. It's a surprise to me consider the fame they have. They served an exotic flavour americano for the reasonable price, which makes me think they are serious about the coffee taste. Within an hour there, I see a few batch of customer come to buy coffee bean and go. Will revisit again for my coffee supply one day.

The coffee is amazing. I have been trying local coffee shops around Penang for quite some time. Most of the time I will find local coffee shops that serve coffee using specialty coffee beans.
It is safe to say that this cafe served one of the best iced black that I have ever tried. Love the ambiance too. Please support local coffee shops!

Reframe is an unassuming cafe, and from the outside you would not expect to see some of the best beans from around the world and the same level of equipment to brew it.
Make no mistake, Reframe is not your typical cafe. It is a specialty coffee shop and roaster. You get what you pay for and their prices are reasonable for the product quality and service you receive.
Though despite the serious coffee beans and equipment, the staff and owner really make you feel comfortable and are very warm and friendly even to those new to coffee.
I would highly recommend Reframe to anyone who is looking to try high quality speciality coffee while at the cafe or order their in-house roasted beans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Based on the very good reviews, I gave them a try. I was happy when I stepped in, the coffee aroma was quite nice and strong. So I kinda had high expectations on the coffee. I was told the coffee comes in double shot. Ordered flat white. For a coffee lover like myself, I find the coffee is just ok. It’s more on the milky side. Coffee taste is not as strong. I prefer my coffee stronger. The iced chocolate was so so as well. Nothing fantastic. But considering the many cafes and coffee outlets I’ve visited, the price point is ok.
