โ โ โ โ โ Beautiful hotel in a great part of KL. Very friendly, professional and courteous staff. Amazing breakfast buffet with many staffed stations offering prepared to order warm dishes. Fantastic swimming pool with a bar and great service. Well equipped gym and boutique spa. A very positive experience with couple of things that need mentioning. The room is nice but is getting dated and bathroom had some plumbing issues.

โ โ โ โ โ We had a great time in Kuala Lumpur all due to the excellent hospitality of the people at the Renaissance Hotel at KL. Some of the people we met included Mahin, Meor, Zetty Dimitra and Lilian who were all great ambassadors for the hotel. We were on a club floor but also interacted with people on the ground floor who were also great to talk to and provided great advice on what to see and help book the excursions. The hotel itself was also great with the hotel looking new and modern after the renovation. Can only praise the whole experience.
Some of the people we met included Mahin, Meor, Zetty Dimitra and Lilian who were all great ambassadors for the hotel, they couldn't do enough for you. But it was the genuine friendliness that won us over. The people at the hotel had great pride working there and it showed.
The simple task of saying hello can be overlooked at some hotels but everyone was so happy to see you. You feel very welcome. The pool was huge was a good place at the end of the day to cool off and relax. Perfect temperature.
Being close the monorail made it easy to get around and was in easy walking distance to the Twin Towers (a must see).

โ โ โ โ โ Upgraded to 1 Bedroom Suite, nice room, overlooking partial view of the KL Tower. Lounge executive and bartender were all friendly, nice cocktails and nice explaination on each cocktails! As Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member get breakfast + 1 guest and 1000 welcome point (some properties, choose either one). Some issue happened during previous stay (welcome amenities was not offered during check in, asked for USD100 compensation, were told that hotel unable to compensate in cash, hence offered 5000 points as compensation & 50% on room rate), the Loyalty Champion promised me this issue will not repeat again in future stay, in which, my current stay was great! F&B staffs at Evolution Cafe, look not interested in their job, greeting only done by front desk at cafe, breakfast spread was great, but the taste not impressive. This hotel is great for short staycation with friends or family, or even for business traveller, or tourist. This hotel has 2 massage/spa centre, 1 be it in house, another one is 3rd party (superb reasonable price, but did not have time to experience it).

โ โ โ โ โ A bit of a walk to most places in KL City Centre but eminently doable unless its raining. To me its a great location.
The hotel has two wings . The West has been renovated and the rooms are very modern and spacious although rather plain. TIP. Many of the lavatories don't flush well - the secret i found is to hold the button in for about 15 seconds. Overall I'd say the Renaissance has the feel of a 3-4 star - say more like a Four Points. The East wing is not yet renovated but equally spacious. However its much more dated and the in-room TV system is nowhere near as good as in the West Wing, although even in thee West wing rooms, the choice of channels on the large in-room TV's is a let down.
There isn't much to do in the hotel and the only bar is a bit sad to be honest. The saving graces are (1) the excellent Exec lounge which really is a great and friendly place to hang out between meetings or to work in as an alternative to the bedroom and (2) the wide range of bars and restaurants within a 5-7 minute walk.
The staff are universally helpful and friendly.
Overall Its a good hotel and value for money despite a few shortcomings. I've probably stayed there 20 times in the last year which reflects my satisfaction after switching from the nearby Sheraton Imperial which I found to be a much more poorly run establishment - but thats another story.

โ โ โ โ โ I really liked this hotel. Itโs located very convenient, we got our rooms very fast and staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. I especially liked breakfast, it really was worth the money and I am usually not a big fan of buffet breakfast. You had the choice between a continental breakfast, local dishes, stations where they prepared meals especially for you and a big variety of drinks. The waiters were always busy getting your empty plates out of your way. All in all this hotel is very convenient and I can recommend it. A tiny dent in my experience in this hotel was that I could always hear music in my room and nobody could fathom where it came from. Other than that everything else was good!

โ โ โ โ โ When I visited, the hotel impressed me. Clean and spacious, friendly staff and a NEVER ending breakfast buffet! Location is surely very good too and if you are lucky you get a pretty view of the Petronas towers too.

โ โ โ โ โ Beautiful property with spacious and large rooms, that have a modern design and are very clean. The staff is very polite and the service is great! Has a huge pool that's open till late, along with great restaurant options. All this and more at very reasonable prices. Situated in the Golden Triangle area, it's super convenient and in the heart of the city.The hotel is beyond my expectation. Centrally located in KL city. Staff are all friendly and courteous. Overall a short and pleasant stay. close to the KLCC vicinity with plenty of quality shopping and restaurants nearby.
