★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is well known by many old folks living in the area, and it’s Chai Koey is undeniably good.
Unfortunately service is slow due to understaff, and environment is unhygienic with houseflies (coming from the drain just outside of the shop) hogging around your food. Can be irritating and disgusting sometime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their Chai Kueh is the best among the 3 shops nearby. They have 2 flavor, Chives (Ku Chai) and Chinese Turnips (Bangkuang). Both filling, chives and chinese turnips are more complex in terms of flavor. The skin is a bit too thick and not as good as soon lee hou opposite.
