★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best cai kuih that I've ever tried. I loved their cai kuih a lot and you definitely must try if you come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Chye kueh is too soft. The bah kut teh pork was a bit flat and no flavour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious dimsum in a sleepy little town with outstanding chai kuih! Well, it's more like smashed chai kuih and bang kuang kuih, so don't expect it to look super pretty.
Simple kopitiam with swift service and traditional communication. Teochew style dimsum for the whole family! Try their fried vermicelli and siew mai.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the 2 popular Chai Kuih shops. Have to go early to avoid long queue. Hand made Chai Kuih made and steam on spot. Serves also some fried noodles and dim sum. One can always chop some roast pork and duck next door to add to the variety. One important thing to note that this shop's Chai Kuih trademark is that the skin is so soft and thin that it tears easily. So it is not fair when one commented on the Chai Kuih being served 'broken', 'smashed', 'poor presentation' or whatever nasty words. It is their style. If want something proper and normal then best go to MCdonald for pineapple or apple pies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have lunch there on 26 May. The chai kuih is the worst I had tasted. It is soft, soggy and tasteless. Except for the fried glass noodles, taste of other dishes are way below average. Price is expensive for the food they serve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is okay but is better you don't go near their washroom or kitchen, you might not like what you see there. Probably will affect your appetite.
The chai kueh is okay but the "skin" is very thick which affect its overall texture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't judge the book by its cover. This smashed chai kueh doesn't look good but taste very good. Their Chai Kueh comes in 2 flavors, Chives (Ku Chai) and Chinese Turnips (Bang Kuang). RM2.60 per plate (2 pcs). Chives is very flavorful, bangkuang is a bit lacking but still good. The skin is the best among the 3 shops nearby, flavor wise is not as complex as Son Soon Lee at the opposite.
If you are dropping by, do try out their guang jiang also. It is a type of Teow Chew Kueh with
yam and peanut wrapped inside soy skin. Not easy to find now. Very good.
