★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were told that thus place served really good laksa johor. So on this public holiday, we made the journey to Shah Alam to give this place a try.
Wasn't expecting this restaurant to be huge and by the looks of it, it is quite an establishment (since 1985). I can imagine during lunchtime it will be quite crowded based on the spread of the lauk available. Anways, we ordered the laksa johor and the soto. The laksa johor was okay, wasn't mindblowing. Portion was big and the condiments were generous, but the gravy looked paleish and gooey somewhat. Soto was quite okay too, but definitely need the sambal kicap to give it a kick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They only sell their laksa johor at noon. Atleast that was what i've been told. Variety of food. Quiet systematic. We came for late breakfast but ended up having brunch with my kids because I wanted to wait for the laksa johor. Hence the rm60-80

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is fine. Drink is fine. Price is reasonable. Now to explain why this review only gives 3 stars.
There's just too many people. It's not 100% the operators' fault, but it detriments my experience here. To get a drink, I cannot sit down and order; I have to queue up for drinks. And the queue is too long for a Saturday. I have had a long week at work and asking me to queue on an early Sat morning is no bueno. So we ended the sombre breakfast just eating and went home for drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 11am onwards is the busiest times.... they have a lot of food choices for your to choose from. The dishes are not bad.. it has the taste and the price is still reasonable and variety. But, they are doing the same dishes every day and they do not rotate their dishes based on the day of the week. I guess it is more a hassle to them to track it.....maybe they should think about Today's Specials menu/dishes.... that would provide more attraction to their loyal customers.

Their Nasi Dagang Terengganu always be my ultimate choice of food.
Can totally recommend it and will definitely come back again.
