โ โ โ โ โ Food is good and cheap but the wait is very long. Unlike most Chinese restaurants where the cooking is pipelined, they serve all the dishes at the same time to a table before starting on the dishes for the next table.

โ โ โ โ โ This is a Chinese restaurant, popular among locals. Their signature dishes are salted egg chicken and curry fish head. Price is considered reasonably cheap! Reservation is required as they don't entertain walk-in customers if fully reserved. Usually, you have to wait for at least half and hour for the foods to be served. As there is only one chef cooking the foods. It is a family business restaurant. They are ample parking outside the restaurant

โ โ โ โ โ Better call and reserve for seat before go, they only serve you if reserved. We went there and being reject at the entrance, the little fat girl is not friendly and asked if we got reserve the table. When we said no, then the little girl was sitting there and said no more place but inside actually still got few empty table, one table just about to leave. She was not asking us to wait for the table at all. I think their business is too good and ไธ็จ็ฝ walk in customer like us.

โ โ โ โ โ Love their salted egg sotong. Food is tasty and economical. Always my first food stop when I visit malacca. Have to prepare to wait a bit during peak hours. The coffee shop is not open the whole day so need to take note of their opening hours 12 to 2.30pm and 6 to 10.30pm. close on wed.

โ โ โ โ โ If you decide to try this local place, fish curry is highly recommended whether it is fish head curry or fish paste. Well managed and maintained, cleanliness is observed. They boil and serve their own barley and ba bao tea but not other typical beverages like orange juice, milo, coffee, etc. Food is really delicious compared to other Melaka restaurants with chinese cuisine, it is no wonder the locals tell each other to keep this place a secret so that it maintain its authenticity and not crowded with touristโฆ. but hey, itโs a good deed to share good food info to fellow foodies, eh?
1. pls be reminded: itโs not halal
2. also, owners only speaks mandarin and very little englishโฆ
