★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Open-air concept restaurant and patron mainly by the village folks. Usually quiet and become very crowded during CNY time as they are the only restaurant operating for dinner. Pertang is a small town with mainly Hakka clan, the restaurant owner/chef is also a Hakka. Hence they serve common Chinese Hakka dishes like the braised pork with yam (客家芋头扣肉), fried pork belly (客家炸肉), steam Tilapia with special sauce, buddha's yam ring (佛钵), and the boss' special fried “Mao Dan Xia" (毛丹虾). Pertang is really a small town and everyone knows each other, the restaurant become very lively when everyone around you talking in loud Hakka!
