Was told that the kolok mee here is made in Peninsular, by a Sarawakian company. Guess that counts as legit kolok mee… The laksa is also different from the laksa in KL. Not sure about how authentic everything is, never been to that country LOL. But tastes good.

Remember to take number while queueing. Much easy to get a table if in smaller group. Their Sarawak laksa is too thick for my liking. Kolo Mee is really good. Tomato Bihun is so-so, personally I prefer it with kuey teow (wrongly ordered). Overall, food here consider authentic and definitely a good place for Sarawakian to visit.

I tries their special bowl of dry kolo mee in char siew sauce together with a bowl of soup filled with different goodness- seaweed, minced pork, fish Maw, fish cake, fish ball, pork balls, vege etc. The regular bowl of noodle was alott. Their sarawak laksa was decent too. What was striking definitely was the amount of liao around the sarawak laksa. For the price and the speed, it was a pretty good deal.

Amazing taste good. Take it from a sarawakian. Peak hour could be packed. Theres AC. But 2 tables outside with fan. This will be my new best place to taste for home. Sarawak laksa. Kolok mee variety. Full menu spot on. Came on a weekend and they sold out at 1pm so brace for it. Edit: 6pm opens til 12am for evening menu. Mani chai bee hoon is awesome. Comes with skewer. Pork belly is nice. They also have tuak! Made from bidayuh local chef! Paku belacan is spot on too

Good Sarawak Mee Goreng! Not bad Sarawak Laksa altho prawns were not exactly fresh. Maybe supplier problem. Didn't try the kolo mee. Good Kon Kiaw {dumpling}. Coffee is normal as with all kopitiam. Good for ppl who don't like it too strong. Place is busy lunchtime. Clean & sanitised. Parking on roadside.

Food are all good. Order kolok Mee can say above average still rooms for improvement. What impress me is those. Non noodle order like pork and seafood soup and wantan side order are really value for money. As you can see from photo they give alot and big portion. Not pricey also

Definitely one of the most satisfying meals I’ve ever had for a long long time. Imagine each dish hits the spot, even though I was hungry and expecting some really good food. Ruai manicai Fried Bee hoon has very good wok hei, lots of dried shrimp in every bite, not too oily, simple food done so right! Added with signature chicken skewer is very good too Sarawak Foochow fried noodles is very comforting too, noodles were fried and cooked with soup after, finished with some tuak (Sarawak rice wine) Every sip of soup has a smooth sweetness from the tuak, savoury and comforting. Dip the pork pieces in their homemade chilli, it’s a really well thought out combination. MUST ORDER the Sambal petai squid, you will be hooked with their sambal flavour, I’m guessing it’s tomato based with some spice, super good and delicious. How I wish they do sell the sambal on its own, will get a few bottles for sure! We ordered the 3 layer milk tea with Pandan, flavour is not fake at all (which was a surprise), Gula Melaka taste is obvious but not too sweet. The free herbal tea that came with bee hoon was nice too, not too sweet with a good hint of bitterness at the end. What more can I say? A good meal it is for sure

A reasonably tasty bowl of Sarawak Kolo Mee. It reminded me of the Kolo Mee I’ve had in Kuching many years back, so obviously very authentic in preparation. I’ve only given a 4 star rating as I felt the toppings were just average taste wise, bar the minced pork which was very tasty. They have a number of interesting dishes which I will slowly work my way through. ? UPDATE: Returned at afternoon tea-time to try their kway chap but was told that dish was only available at nights. So had a plate of Sarawak Mee Tomato which I’ve never tried before (even in Sarawak). The tomato paste/ketchup flavour in the gravy was strange to my taste buds but enjoyable. Toppings were generous (I ordered the β€œspecial” which has more toppings) but a slice of pork liver was undercooked. Generally a tasty dish. Again a 4/5 star rating is a fair assessment. Update 2: Returned for their Sarawak Laksa Special. (Special equates to more varied toppings). There is a consistency with most of their food items. Great authentic taste of Sarawak food, good flavours but quality of toppings are just β€œdecent coffee shop grade” - taste good but quality is just fair. Still, probably good enough I guess. The delicious flavours keep bringing me back though. ? @whiskydev
