β β β β β I love the different varieties of claypot rice. My favourites are the Black Pepper Steak Rice and the Red Bean Sauce Chicken Rice.
Service is so so. I've been here many times and often they forget your drinks and sometimes send you the wrong order.
The food though, is good to warm you up on a cool day and it's just hearty enough. And it's different from the normal basic Claypot Chicken Rice, but they do have this here. You can start off your meal with a bowl of steamed soup. They offer a variety of choices daily.

β β β β β I like that they have unique varities like black pepper beef, thai style, prawn, etc. Prawn is quite nice. Soup also not bad. Price is reasonable.
Dont like the atmosphere here.
Usually go for the Small size claypot. Once, I ordered the Big Claypot Chicken Rice w Salted Fish + Sausage, it tasted bland. Could be a one time mistake.

β β β β β Haven't come here in years but I think the food quality is still pretty decent. They followed sop properly post mco. Temperature was checked & can login for contact tracing. I liked the prawn claypot. It's not fresh prawns but portion is generous and taste is decent. The salted fish & Chinese sausage is the standard. I remembered the tomyam 1 tasted better before but it wasn't that bad. Drinks are standard. Shop was fairly clean but it's ure typical no frills kind of place. Parking maybe difficult here during peak periods. Price is acceptable for the portion size, location & quality of food. It might not be the best claypot rice around but it's definitely a decent one.

β β β β β Waited for 40 minutes for our food to (not) arrive.
There were about 3 other tables when we arrived and we ordered our food. our drink came and we started to wait.
After about 15 min the food was not here but I attributed to the prep time and continued waiting. by then another table has ordered and their food came in less than 10 min. I figured perhaps they called to book earlier and hence got their food earlier.
Anyway, I signaled to a staff that we are waiting for our food and he signaled back that it was being prepared (he did not check with the kitchen but I assumed they had their queue system)
The wait continued. until another table that came after us was served then we went to the back to ask and was told that the boss forgot to write down our order.
mistakes happen. I understand. but when I raised the doubt after waiting for 25 minute the least you could have done was to actually check rather than dismiss my query.
furthermore, the shop is not that big right and you see a table of guest not being served for more than half an hour wouldn't you have sensed something was amiss?

Loh bak is okay. Vegetable is very simple but I prefer to have more garlic oil.
