★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By the time you read this, this little known hawker style kopitiam in Bandar Menjalara was made famous by members in Makan Club. Actually I came here way before that but like every place else, it has to queue up before being posted. I chanced upon this restaurant when I was looking for breakfast in this area before heading back to office. This stretch of shops have at least 4 kopitiam like this.
So I parked my car and looked around on what looks good to eat. Saw a small sign showing delicious looking curry mee and proceed to order it.
◾Curry mee - their own style of curry mee and to me, it was very good. There's distinct taste of lemongrass which I love so much, just the right thickness, creamy and appetising. I asked to omit the noodle and add everything else - char siew, taufu pok, curry chicken, Fu chuk, bean sprouts, fried wantans, COCKLES!. Gobbled up everything like a hungry baby.
◾Pork noodle - different from the usual style of pork noodle. The aroma of Chinese wine was evident in the broth but lacked the sweetness from the pork. However I love the inclusion of shabu style pork belly and pork ball.
◾It was after that I know that the seafood noodle is very popular here but until today I have no opportunity to revisit this restaurant
The only grouse that I have is the location - in the morning, the sun would shine directly at you, and it was stuffy inside the restaurant. However, the curry mee really made up for it..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw it on Instagram post so came to try it, my bowl is fish noodle soup taste good. But the other bowl of pork noodles does not add alcohol. and as for the noodles, the noodles are too little while the bowl is too big.

But seem like there is about 10% price increase for Seafood Noodles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the signature seafood noodle 招牌海鲜面 and clear soup seafood noodle 酒香海鲜面. Both are very delicious and have it’s own uniqueness.
Signature seafood noodle is a bit spicy and has creamy buttery taste. It’s very special and unique. You definitely have to taste it yourself. Whereas the clear soup seafood noodle is with alcohol, and full with all the seafood taste in it. Depending on your taste, both are good. If you have two person ordering, you should go for both.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our simple breakfast here was good. The new seating arrangement looked more attractive . There were several refrigerators ,a proof that their food, especially seafood were stored in good condition. The quality of food n serving size just as good with no price increase unlike some food outlets, price increase n serving size shrinking. A thanks to the Yong family
During my visit , tables were fully occupied with some waiting patiently. If one is willing to spend a little bit more.there is plenty of choice. Take a look at the menu, you will be convinced. You may give yourself a try

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their signature seafood noodle is quite good. Spicy and savory in golden color soup but it’s not curry. Comes with many pieces of prawns, clams and fish. Also topped with crispy pork lard. They have other type of noodles but I chose the lai fun. Smooth and silky. This kopitiam has other stalls but this bayan baru stall takes up most space. They also sell noodles with pork kidney with wine and ginger. Maybe next round I’ll try that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered pork stomach noodle with wine for breakfast. It was quite a filling breakfast. It was a big bowl. It was quite unique dish with wine especially to be eaten in the morning. There were so many lala inside as well for the dish.
Preparation of the dish took about 15 minutes.
Will try another dish next time I visit here again.
