Purposely went there to try out their pao in the morning. I was lucky as there was no queue in the morning during weekdays but the pao taste didn't satisfied me. Chicken rice is cheap. Charsiew, Roasted pork with chicken drumstick only rm7.50 but taste no good. The coffee shop were clean and very windy not stuffy like other coffee shop.

It has been on my list for years and finally made it. Arrived around 8 and there was a short queue. Love that the shop owner and all hawkers strictly adhered to SOP and managed crowd effectively. Bought the 南乳包, 梅菜包, 咸蛋莲蓉包, 流沙包. I must say all best. To nitpick, perhaps the 流沙包 a little ordinary. My friend got the 马来糕 and I tried a bite, there's some fragant made it taste nice, not to forget its fluffy texture. The kopi was thick to give some kick too. Will certainly plan for another foody ride to breakfast here.

Located near the flats buildings, Wai Kwan has been serving delicious food to the area for many years. My last visit was as a student five years ago, and all the memories came flooding back as soon as I entered the compound. The bao is fresh in delicious, but the pan mee is plain and lackluster. It is worse than average. Please order the char siew hakka mee. It is exceptionally delicious, and I have to get MORE the next time I go there.

Pork noodle looks different from the earlier review. Soup is very heavy on MSG and i find it too salty & lacks flavor, not so generous on meat, only 1 slice lean meat with few tiny pieces minced meat (requested to exclude organs&pork ball), no pork lard given. Minced meat has a funny taste perhaps not fresh.Teh is below average. Tried the namyu pork pau & vegetable pau, so so, nothing to shout about. Revisit to try hakka mee. Taste was ok but they forgot minced meat until i approach the stall and ask for it ? and is not even busy/peak hour.

One thing unique about this kopitiam/ dai chow is that their servings are way larger than the rest, at a lower cost! Bottomless rice and drinks (tea/ water) are served in tall cups. Taste-wise, so-so but very economical for large groups. What you see below are the dishes in small sizes! Take note, large crowds during dinner time so waiting is expected.

An average typical kopitiam. However the Paus stall is a Must try. All freshly made & fillings are generous. Unlike other Paus it's a hit miss bite for filling. Chee Heong Fun is also a must try. Good texture with special sauce that is different from others. Clean kopitiam & drinks are fairly priced.

Love the yong tau foo noodle sold by an Uncle there. He made the fish paste filling himself and it has very bouncy texture. There's this fried egg fishcake, a specialty that we can't find elsewhere. Unfortunately Uncle passed away end of last year due to lung cancer.

My all time favourite Bao stall, especially their nam yu bao. ?? They made fresh bao every morning.
