β β β β β After all these years I've been dining at Bidayah Bandar Baru Selayang. Suddenly, I found another Bidayah here at Masjid India area. Amazingly, the roti canai, tosai and the roti telur were superb. The curry was superbly delicious. The service was fast. The restaurant was a little bit crowded. Now I know where to eat when visiting Jakel. Sorry, no picture of all the roti, as I forgot to take it. Maybe next time. Well done!

β β β β β The place looks inviting because they display the nasi kandar dishes outside, but I dined here during tea time for Roti Canai. And they really need to improve on the simplest of foods, like just a plain roti canai.
All mamak restaurants offer roti canai, but sadly many of them do not make fresh roti canai on the spot. They pre-make and when you order, they heat it up and send to the customer. That's what I experienced here, which is a let down.
Roti Canai Kosong not fresh, curry not hot, and that totally spoils the tea time meal experience. So, I'm not recommending this place for plain roti. Maybe roti telur or other freshly cooked stuff.
The coffee was decent, place clean and staff well-groomed. Looks like the family-owned business still operates with members of the family manning the food and cashier.
