โ โ โ โ โ When it comes to asam pedas, not many are able to cook as good as asam pedas melaka. The recipe used is inherited from the Malaccan grandma. Suffice to say it is the best asam pedas melaka in town or KL.
The usual other dishes are made available everyday except Friday (close). If you do not like asam pedas, patin tempoyak, ayam masak merah, sambal sotong kering, daging gulai kawah are some of the dishes love by many. A lot of veges such as gulai cili api pucuk ubi, gulai jantung pisang/pisang, gulai nangka, pucuk paku are made available too on rotational basis. For those who are not adventurous, the normal turmeric fried chicken/fish, sambal tempe, mixed veges, telur masak kicap and other stuff are also available.
They may be packed during lunchtime and weekends. Parking is tricky but manageable. Call to book your seat if you come in big group. Otherwise, you may order through food panda or bungkus it. Payments are acceptable in cash or using maybank QR pay.
Come over if you feel you wanna try asam pedas best but don't wish to drive far. Or if you wanna try oher dishes, we guaranteed you will not be disappointed.

โ โ โ โ โ The place may not look like much and the selection is considered quite few. But the few dishes they offer are very tasty and hits all the market notes. The sambal that they offer is something else. You wouldn't find it in other shops.
Staff are very friendly and food is very reasonably priced. I would definitely come again.

โ โ โ โ โ I got down the car from 2 shops away and the asam pedas smell caught my nose! A quick glance saw this Asam Pedas restaurant, went in and waited for the freshly cooked asam pedas tenggiri. Opens at 7am for breakfast and asam pedas starts steaming out at 9.30am, business will be all the way to 5pm, while stock lasts.
The asam pedas is real asam and level of spice just right. The pucuk ubi masak lemak is real lemak and cooked with chunks of sweet potatoes. I also took the tempe. This dish with an iced Milo was RM12.50.
There are choices of various fishes - Nyok nyok, ikan susu, tenggiri, pari, kembung - that's about what I can remember. Customer service was quick and friendly too. Will come again soon
