โ โ โ โ โ This restaurant served only steamed food and located a few shop lots away from Restoran Lee Hong Kee. It occupied the ground floor of a shop lot and was air conditioned. We ordered:
* Steamed โSoong Yeeโ fish head in two styles - one in soya sauce and the other in โCheong Jingโ sauce.
* Steamed minced pork
* Steamed sayur rajah
* Steamed soft tofu
For steamed fish, the sauce is most important, apart from the freshness of the fish. Here, they didnโt disappoint. The fish was fresh and the sauces were superb though the Cheong Jing sauce was a bit too sweet. However, I still find the the steamed โSoong Yeeโ served at Restoran Mun Kee slightly better (the streetside stall, not the proper restaurant close to the end of the road. Same owner).
The steamed minced pork was delicious. It wasnโt hard (caused by adding too much flour) or too salty (from the salted Choy Poh) but the portion was small.
The vegetable and tofu were average. Food prices were reasonable.
Nice healthy steamed food for a change but beware - waiting for the food would take quite some time, probably the steaming process required a longer cooking time.

โ โ โ โ โ Dinning here after an off road ride. Great place for steam fish head. Tried few favour and all meet expectations no fishy smell and meats are tender. Sauce are tasty and recommended to bring elderly and young one to eats here. Parking not an issue but because of CMCO seats limited the individual portion become bigger. Large table only allowed 6 person.

โ โ โ โ โ Delicious steamed fish head - Thai sauce, soy sauce or "chai por (salted radish)", steamed pork, bean curd, salted fish bean sprouts, green shoot (Wong tai Miu). Waiting time 30 minutes to 1 hour. Tips: to avoid waiting, go before 11am or after 2pm.

โ โ โ โ โ If you like "song yi" fish head then they have many cooking styles. But not my favourite fish because a lot of tiny bones. They also serve Hakka dishes. Clean environment and inexpensive.

โ โ โ โ โ Simple cooked dishes at reasonably price. Tasty fresh carp steamed in spicy bean paste or ginger flavoured without fishy taste. The ambience is simple yet clean for hygiene upkeep.

โ โ โ โ โ Wonderful place for a meal. The soongyee (silver carp) fish head is fresh and delicious and affordable. The other dishes we had, the vegetables are tasty as well as our black fungus pork.
Highly recommended and parking is quite convenient.

โ โ โ โ โ The only way a steam fish head taste good is when the supply are replenished daily. The freshness determines the taste as well as the โsmellโ. I for one are attracted to a fishhead place when the flavor is clean, sweet and no after taste ( some fishy smell and flavors are often encounter). Chong Brothers AKA 4th story steam fish head is now a popular foot print here ( Sg Buloh Village).
