★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A long serving local kopitiam (coffeeshop) with popular dishes of steamed prawned filled "chee cheong fun", fish ball noodles & Yong Tau Foo . The fried noodles section serves esp Hainan Fried BeeHoon, Sliced Fish Bedhoon soup, are recommended. There are small nasi lemak packets that delivered delicious sambal bites. Parking along road side near the location is limited and depending on driver's luck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mainly family run stalls here. Chee Cheong fun with chives and dried chilli shrimp is really good. Yong tau foo is a popular stall but the soup is bit plain. It was a treat to taste pork lard here. Most places have switched to cheap hydrogenated veg oil.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the old traditional kopitiam with good selection of established food stalls. The place is popular with locals as well as travellers. We came for dinner and order our choice of dishes and drinks. Popular here are the pork porridge and wan tan noodles. We order Cantonese fried rice noodles, fried veggies and pork chops and satay. Drinks included barley and soda drinks. Service is fast and friendly. Parking is limited and a challenge here.
