★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disclaimer - rating is based on the CNY dinner set. Would have given zero stars if it was possible. The rm500++ was served with 7 dishes. It was meant for 10 pax but the food portion was more like it was for 6 pax. The fish was so small, by the time the eight person took some, it was almost finished. Food taste was mediocre at best and certainly not up to par from all the good reviews given. We got the 8pm slot but by the way the food was served it was already almost 9pm. The staffs were unfriendly and probably tired after long hours of work.
Advice is to come on normal days and try the normal ala care meni

Food is well flavoured and nice presented. Service is fair and the place is virtually empty during lunch time. Pricing is on the fine dine spectrum.
Good thing is there's plenty of parking just out front.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was bad and slow. The guy (should the boss’s brother) was so rude. Never ever encountered a waiter who shouted at the customer. Funny how he was still dare to shout. Food was served super slow like one dish after an hour of waiting. All because of his poor management. He thought he’s boss’s brother so he could act like that. What a shame. I have been this restaurant for many years but this time really disappoint me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time dining here, disable ramp available therefore good for elderly on wheelchair, restaurant is spacious and clean. Ordered 1)bean curd 2)teochew steam fish 3)seaweed fish ball soup 4)teowchew fried noodle. 5)bitter gourd egg. The food not overly salty or oily, the taste is definitely above average. Definitely will come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite spot when I return to Penang. Serve authentic Teow Chew dishes. The Teow Chew steam fish is absolutely delicious, taoqua with vegetables are really good and the have one of the best yam paste desert I've tasted. Fried crab ball wasn't available, we had fried prawn ball instead (not bad but crab ball tasted much better). Highly recommended if you have never tried teow chew food.
