★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely crowded in the morning so rather uncomfortable. Just eat n run, not a place to chill. Sharing tables is commonplace here. Food prices above average. Wide range of hawker food available but the famous koay teow th'ng stall is somewhat overrated- small portion, oily n expensive. Father's culinary kungfu hasn't adequately devolved into the hands of his children. Man has lost so much weight I hope he is well. Far better is the Air Itam koay teow thng. You can find almost all types of Penang chinese hawker food here. Hokkien Mee, Chee cheong fun, chicken rice, yong tau fu, char koay teow, nasi lemak, wonton mee, apom, economy rice, economy beehoon and much more.
Come evening, the coffee shop becomes a choo char outlet. Owner's son is the proprietor of the choo char business. Food prices fair. Try the curry fish meat at RM 16. Good. That koay teow thng stall also opens at night run by one of the children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very crowded on Saturday morning, 9am, and had to share a table with others. I ordered a small plate of pan mee for RM4.50 and it was actually quite filling. The toilet was also rather clean here.

The early days there was a very popular Bak Kut Teh operating at night.
I used to have Hokkien Mee, Roti Bun and Koay Teow Th'ng for my Breakfast and Lunch. Besides that you can enjoy other hawkers' stalls.
Don't miss the Popular Koay Teow Th'ng Stall.
Formerly from the Green House Kopitam at Burmah and Dobby Ghaut at night.
The boss was a taxi driver during the day and now he has retired.
If you ❤️ Crispy rispPork Lard I am sure that you will love the Koay Teow Th'ng.
Strongly recommended to Maggie Mee with Egg. ??????
Holiday & Sunday morning are always packed with ppl.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been dining at this place for dinner for more than 10 year, seldom came here for breakfast.
This cafe is always crowded in the morning on weekends with limited carpark around that area. There are a lot of stalls; the toast bread is quite famous. Many people come here for breakfast after morning workout and especially after the annual Penang Bridge International Marathon.
