★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My goto for BKT. Is either for lunch or late dinner. Either ur usual mix or big bone plus a claypot of vinegar trotters. Their herbs r not too overpowering. Trotters has just the right balance of sourness n sweet. Not too water down as the vinegar will kick ur tonsil slightly letting u know is there.
I always order a claypot of pig kidneys brew with rice wine. A confinement food tat seem to warm ur insides during rainy days. Don't prepare well, n the urea taste will kick in which I'm happy to report no urea taste here. Well a bit.... ?
Try their homemade apple with red dates drink. But the price is a bit high... ?
Owner lady is friendly (Hokkien làng) so can chat every thing under the sky
